The age limit for Assam Institute of Nursing General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) programme is 17 - 35 years. There is no upper age bar for candidates who are already qualified as an Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (ANM) or a Lady Health Visitor (LHV). The course can help experienced healthcare workers upgrade their skills, provided they are physically and mentally fit for the training.

Candidates need to meet age, educational and fitness requirements to apply for GNM at Assam Institute of Nursing. Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to undergo three-years of classroom and practical training of GNM.

Q:   Who is eligible for GNM at Assam Institute of Nursing?

Candidates must complete Class 12 with English and at least 40% aggregate in qualifying exam to apply for GNM at Assam Institute of Nursing.
