Assumption college is too rigid for a change. Some rules are still ancient.
Placements: Placements never happen in assumption college that I am aware of. But students used to go to neighboring colleges for placement drive to get a job. Most of them got placed in airlines, in Appolo company, joined MBA courses rest took a break.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available nor phones are allowed inside the college. But classrooms are good. The library has a large collection of books. Labs are also good. Hostel facilities are good enough to stay of the person knows how to manage in any environment. Canteen is good. Assumption is known for its sports and games but the sports students are not getting the care and consideration they should be given. Food isn't as worthy to be appreciated.
Faculty: Teachers are you qualified, helpful but again a little too strict in managing students. The current curriculum has to be more practical than just the theory and note to help students to get selected in a firm. Placements never really happen there None that I know of.
Other: I choose BBA because in the future when I join an administrative service it will help to deal with people and the issues. Events and fest isn't that crowded because no support from teachers and principals for the fest programme, as previously mentioned college is strict. Extra curricular yes sports day, arts day, college days are conducted in that way many talented students come up.
