Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2024

I think it's the best college.
Placements: Approximately 75% of students were enrolled in our study. The average salary was 15 LPA. The highest salary was 33 LPA. The lowest salary was 9 LPA. Microsoft, Google, Oracle, etc., were the top hiring companies. About 70% of students got internships in big companies. They were secured top roles. The top roles offered were Software Developer, Data Scientist, and more.
Infrastructure: There was a good atmosphere and a good relationship between teachers and the staff. We had good management and good teachers. This course was good for what we were paying. Our college had poor quality. Facilities were limited. These were the two main problems I faced in this college, and this is just my opinion.
Faculty: Our college's faculty members were incredible and amiable with students. They were quite beneficial in tests and provided explanations based on the course syllabus. The best professors offered excellent, easy-to-understand instruction. The pass rate for the more challenging semester exams was about 35%.

Overall best College for MCA Course.
Placements: So basically, almost 90% of students are placed, the highest package is 21 LPA and the lowest package is 5 LPA. Big companies like HCL, Accenture, Capgemini, etc. Almost 85% of students secured their internships. The best roles offered are cybersecurity analyst, cloud architect, and more.
Infrastructure: For every course, our college boasts the best facilities. A distinct department with all the amenities canteen, cafe, Wi-Fi, labs, library, etc. was part of our study. Every facility in the college was available for students' participatory learning and growth. The hostel was really cozy. The hostel mess's food was quite good.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are experts in their field, they are absolutely knowledgeable, and every moment with them is a learning experience for us, they are also very kind, helpful, and help us remain friendly. The curriculum is perfectly designed to meet all the needs of an engineering student in today’s world. Semester exams are not easy, and the pass rate is 75%.

My review of this college.
Placements: The college is very good. Every student has to undergo industrial training in the 6th semester for six months. The training exclusively focuses on software development in either commercial applications or systems. A lot of top leading companies in the IT field show interest in college students. I see big companies like TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Gate, Patni, HCL, Google, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, and many more. The package range varies from 2.5 to 5.0 LPA on average. The highest package is about 12 LPA. 100% of students are placed every year with good packages.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good. If we stay in the college hostel, facilities provided are really amazing. Wi-Fi, hot water, and other amenities are available. The rooms are very nice. Students studying the same course are placed in the same room. There is a discussion between the hostel warden and parents once a month.
Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified, with over 10 years of teaching experience. Some of them have acquired doctorate degrees as well. MCA at Kristu Jayanti College feels like a family. We interact and discuss every minute detail happening in the department. The MCA course duration is 2 years, with 2 main exams each year. There are a total of 6 semesters, and you need to pass each semester to move to the next. Five subjects are taught each semester, with 100 marks for the theory paper and 25 marks for moral education. The course syllabus of MCA is inclined towards the industry and includes two mini-projects to be completed during the summer holidays. This helps students work on their creativity, nurture it, and gain more credit during their holidays.

Overall, best college for MCA course.
Placements: Almost 85% of students were placed in a large company with good resources. INR 35 LPA was the highest package. The average package was INR 16 LPA, with INR 9 LPA being the lowest. TCS, Adani Group, Microsoft, etc., were the top recruiting companies. Almost 80% of the students got their internships. The biggest job offer was software developer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college was awesome. Our college provided a pleasant environment along with top-notch amenities such as a spacious theater, quality medical services, and transport options were also accessible here. The amenities at the hotel were outstanding. We were provided with tasty meals, and the standard of the accommodation was high.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and highly skilled in teaching. The instructors were very helpful and knowledgeable here. This study was about how the college takes students on technical visits according to their semester. Testing was neither too hard nor too easy. It all depended on how well the students could answer the questions. The pass rate was around 35%.

B.Sc. (Hons) Psychology - Batch of 2024

Overall, best college for B.Sc. (hons) in psychology course.
Placements: My college was good and I am a B.Sc. psychology hons student. My batch students got good placements. I am also getting good placement. My package was Rs 5 LPA. My batchmates got a package of Rs 6 LPA to 11 LPA. Top recruiters were Care Counseling Centre, Veda Rehab, Wellness Private Limited, The Mind Clinic, and many more. Top roles were clinical psychologist, counselor, etc. Mostly all students got their internships.
Infrastructure: One aspect I appreciated about our college was its facilities. The structure was quite well-equipped with air-conditioning in many places such as classrooms, library, and many more. Our college also offered Wi-Fi access. Hostel offered competitive rates and features excellent amenities. The cafeteria was nice, tidy, and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers were well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was fantastic. The curriculum of the course was adequate. It made the students more productive, and gave them discipline and knowledge for the future. Semester exams were not that hard, and the pass rate was over 49%.

My review of this college.
Placements: The campus placement is too good. Many deserving students get placed in reputed organizations. Recruiters come to offer internships. The average stipend depends on the recruiters. Some pay Rs.25,000 per month, while others pay Rs.6,000–Rs.7,000 per month. So far, my seniors have had a pleasant experience. The college considers an average of 4 semesters, and a minimum of 60% is required to apply for an interview with any company. Placements are good here. Companies like TCS, Accenture, Nomura, Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Capgemini, etc visit the campus. The package range is 2.5-15 LPA, which is a good number.
Infrastructure: The course curriculum is designed to help students understand the needs, requirements, and demands of the industry. They are given all sorts of training and provided with the necessary resources to gain the best knowledge and education. The hostel infrastructure is good. If we stay in the college hostel, facilities provided are really amazing. Wi-Fi, hot water, and other basic amenities are available. The rooms are very nice. Students studying the same course are placed in the same room. There is a discussion between the hostel warden and parents once a month.
Faculty: Faculty of the college ranges from a young workforce to experienced staff. They are experienced and easygoing with students. A few teachers are alumni of the college itself, and since they know the college well, it becomes easier for them to understand and guide students better. There are two semesters in a year and two midterms, both equally important. The midterm consists of 50 marks, with each carrying 15%, and the semester exams are of 50 and 70 marks, each carrying 30%.
