Living life at 3500ft in the hills of IDUKKI.

Placements: From the entire college, so far 330 students have been placed and still accounting. From the BBA department, around 50% of students have been placed. The highest package offered was 6.15 from Deloitte for professional studies students only. The average package is 2.85-3 LPA. The lowest package is 2.48 LPA. Top recruiting companies are EY, Deloitte, TCS, Sutherland, Accenture, and Talrop. 100% of students got internships at companies since it is compulsory to take up an internship as a part of our curriculum. They have done it in companies like Royal Enfield, Camino Group of Companies, etc. The top role offered is a junior tax analyst.

Infrastructure: All amenities are available. Wi-Fi has a full range on campus. Labs, classrooms, libraries, and all are equipped with ICT tools. The hostel also has a Wi-Fi facility. Some cafeteria shos are there inside the hostel itself. Mess is great. It serves traditional Kerala-style food to make us feel at home. Medical facilities are available only till 4 PM. Sports and games are extremely active here, almost every sport has a college team and students can try out for these college teams to advance in their sports careers.

Faculty: All teachers are friendly, approachable, and highly qualified. They are ready to clear doubts at any time. Teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It helps students to get industry-ready by providing seminars, webinars, workshops, and events that cater to their growth in their interested fields. Semester exams are easy to moderate level. The pass percentage is around 65% per class. I don't have the exact number.

Other: I chose this course because I realized I had the skills related to business administration like management skills, communication, technical, and leadership qualities. The best thing about this course is that it provides great amenities for students to develop their skills further. Things that can be better are to provide specialized fields in business and courses on them like digital marketing, finance, sales, etc. Extracurricular activities are top-notch. Various musical, cultural dances and events are held every few months, as well as sports tournaments.

Marian College also has a very well-maintained and perfect cafeteria with a variety of food items. The medical facilities in Marian College are very good. There is an infirmary with doctors and nurses to take care of students and others.

Faculty: The faculty members of Marian College are well-experienced and highly qualified. The faculty members train students in a professional way. Faculty members provide a number of mock tests for students before their semester exams. Before the semester exams, the faculty members conduct a model semester exam for students. After that, the students become confident and get ready for the main semester-end exams.

Other: I chose BBA because of my own interest in business and the management field, and the BBA department of Marian College is the best for students like me. Marian College is also at the top in conducting fests and events. The extracurricular activities Marian College provides will give students additional support in their careers.

A good place to pursue a degree in a nice environment with countless opportunities.

Placements: College is good for placement. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, Delloite, etc visit for campus recruitment and the majority of the passing out students are placed in nice positions with decent quality packages. Students from all the departments like commerce, Physics, Maths, CA, and BBA, English are placed.

Infrastructure: All the classes are smart room classes. Most teachers use PPT, and online sites for teaching. Online games related to the course are also played occasionally. Multiple hostels in and out of campus are available to accommodate students with good food and stay.

Faculty: The curriculum is designed based on outcome-based education meaning all the classes are taken in a way to help students use theories in real life and the question paper for exams is also prepared on the same basis. It acts as a tool to check the application of theories by the students and the extent of his/her knowledge.

I am satisfied with facilities and surroundings of this college.

Placements: There are several placement options at Marian College. Top companies like Deloitte, Sutherland, Federal Bank, Godrej, etc., recruit students from this college. Top roles provided in placements are analyst, assistant managerial posts, etc.

Infrastructure: There are 4 hostels for girls and 2 for boys in our college. It covers all the basic facilities including a gym and play courts. Food is provided in a standard manner. A clean and refreshing environment is provided so that students are comfortable and happy to be there from home.

Faculty: Education is outcome-based which is highly helpful for the further career of students. There are 6 semesters in most of the courses which make the study easier and more possible. In its outcome-based education. Exams conducted have application-based questions which make students more relevant to the present economy.

Other: I opted for this course because I want to be an entrepreneur and I am interested in knowing the business environment.

It is the best college in Kerala for pursuing BBA as a career path.

Placements: Being a 2nd year BBA student, I have seen 3rd-year students enjoying many opportunities for getting placed in companies. A maximum of about 4 Lacs per annum and a minimum of about 1 Lacs per annum packages are offered. The top recruiting companies are Deloitte, Sutherland, Federal Bank, Wipro etc. All students get internships every year during their semester breaks.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are amazing. 24-hour Wi-Fi is available in every corner of the college and hostel. Clean and modern classrooms are available with smart boards and other facilities. The library at Marian is well organised, and we can even suggest new books. Medical facilities are available in the college. Sports and games are given priority, and all the games, including football, kickboxing, etc., are available.

Faculty: As Marian is an autonomous college, the curriculum is good and regularly revised. They give more importance to practical scenarios than just theory. Every facility is available to learn for those students who are eager to study. Exams are more outcome-based, and questions are more application-based and content case studies. The pass percentage is 40% in each subject.

Other: A person who has a mind of an entrepreneur can always opt for BBA as a career position. Entrepreneurship skills are provided here. Events and campus crowd are excellent in Marian, as events are always held here. Marian is situated in one of the most beautiful places in Kerala, about 3200m above sea level. A good and eco-friendly climate will always enable students to think more and make their mind joyful.

It has good infrastructure and facilities. I'm satisfied with teachers and teaching methods.

Placements: About 75% of the students would be recruited from here. Infosys, Wipro, etc., visit here for placements. I am in my 3rd year, and this year our seniors have got internships in Wipro, Infosys, Godrej, etc. The highest salary package was offered by GM company. Roles are offered in the sales department, and there are many opportunities.

Infrastructure: Classrooms, library, Wi-Fi and everything needed for study are available in our college. Classrooms have smart class facilities, and every department has its own Wi-Fi system. There is every facility to make students satisfied with their college life and get a good education.

Faculty: Teachers here are well trained and qualified. Our college provides helpful extra courses for the future. This course makes students industry-ready and educates students about the business economy, industry development and all about the industry.

Other: I chose this course to join the business sector and learn more about business. The college offers scholarships and many other facilities for students and has made students believe more in the college. Every year our college gets the highest academic results as students perform their level best every year.

It's the best and worthy degree college in Kerala. Teachers and placements for all streams are good.

Placements: As it is an autonomous college and affiliated to MG University, it has many placement offers. Many students got placed in Deloitte this year, which hired students from BBA, B.Com, BCA, etc. Many students got placed in TCS, Cognizant, Godrej, etc. Other students got placements here irrespective of stream. Almost 85% of the students got placed in different companies this year. BBA students are provided with the best internships.

Infrastructure: It has the best infrastructure, and free Wi-Fi is available to all students. There are no broken desks, and all are digitised classrooms. The canteen serves the best food, and canteen has a wide variety of food, including snacks. The library is digitised, and we can even read library books online and pre-book specific books.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Even during the covid time, teachers help students to prepare exams, giving notes and take extra classes. They are highly dedicated even in covid season. They instantly clear doubts anytime, and they are much passionate for students.

Other: The college is affiliated to MG University, and it is the youngest college to achieve autonomous status. Our college is located in the tourist area named Kuttikkanam Idukki, with the best sightseeing places in Kerala. Sports day is celebrated every year, and many extracurricular activities are conducted like sports day, freshers day, cargo fest, etc.
