Sunstone Scholarships and Funding is the driving force behind the Bangalore Institute of Management Studies (BIMS). Sunstone awards scholarships based on merit. Based on how well students perform on the S.A.T. (Sunstone Admission Test), the amount will be determined.

Following are the requirements to take the scholarship test:
For UG programs, candidates must have completed the 12th grade or have comparable credentials from a recognised board in any stream.

For PG programs, applicants must have received a minimum of 50% in their overall graduation grade point average (45% for SC/ST).

- The applicant must have graduated from an accredited university in any area.
- Students in their final year of high school may also apply provided they can show proof.
