This is a completely value-for-money college, good for students pursuing professional courses.
Placements: As per my seniors, about 60–65% of students get placed each year, with average packages being 5–6 LPA. Mostly local companies, banks, and NGOs come here to recruit for sales and BPO-type roles. Most students look for jobs themselves after graduation and do not depend on the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good considering the fees being paid. Classrooms and washrooms are clean and hygienic. Labs are in good condition, and Wi-Fi is enabled. The ground covers a large part of the college, where various sports competitions are organized. A lush green butterfly garden is also present to enhance the calm environment of the college.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about teaching. Classes are taken regularly, and labs are well-equipped to provide the best practical experience to students. This college follows the KNU syllabus, which is quite relevant to the industry. The syllabus is completed on time by teachers. Students get ample time to revise what has been taught.
Other: I chose this college because it is in my hometown. It has a good reputation here. Campus life is not very active. Although the college organizes various sports competitions and other events.

A simple journey of BB College: Value, simplicity, and self-driven growth.
Placements: There is no guaranteed placement. Occasionally, local companies or NGOs conduct small-scale interviews but these are rare and do not align with the corporate sector jobs. Professional courses like BBA and BCA are slightly better and engaged due to their skill-based nature but opportunities remain modest and localised.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure consisting of various departments for various courses and streams. It also has its own hostel. Facilities are also available such as labs, library, computer labs, classrooms, washrooms, canteens, sports facilities, Wi-Fi, and digital facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are good and intelligent. They are very approachable and supportive. Our course curriculum is designed to provide theoretical knowledge aligned with the university standards. Faculty members are very qualified. Semester exams are also conducted in easy terms.
Other: I chose this course for its affordability, accessibility, and reputation in the Asansol region. I chose this course because I am interested in it. I heard good reviews from this college about its faculty members and discipline.

Virtual experience of B. College with Jeev.
Placements: I am not very sure about the placement cell if there is any in our college. So, I don’t know much about placements from our batch, but I have met a couple of students who graduated from our college and are currently working in decent companies with decent packages. Also, I personally believe that placement is more of a personal responsibility rather than the college’s, especially if it is a regular degree college and not a professional one. Our course curriculum is comprehensive and focused on maintaining a balance between academics and practical knowledge, which comes in handy to secure a good job.
Infrastructure: I deducted one star because Wi-Fi facility is not available. Apart from that, everything you might need is well taken care of. There are multiple labs, libraries both central and common, various gardens, and a lively ground, along with a canteen and some decent spots to unwind and look back on your day with your peers.
Faculty: The teaching quality is fairly appreciable. Faculty members are open, approachable, and always ready to tackle doubts to ensure no questions go unheard. The course curriculum is relevant and balanced to prepare us to tackle the outside world. The semester examinations both internal and external are fun and not stressful unless you are unprepared. Examinations have a predefined and certain syllabus, unlike real life.
Other: I chose this course, B.Com Hons. Because it is a four-year program a three-year bachelor’s degree followed by one year of research. At the end of the third year, I have the option to either take the bachelor’s degree or continue with the one-year research to earn the honours degree. Scholarships are also there, both merit-cum-need and merit-based, such as Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means SVMCM and Kanyashree. Our annual fest, Sanghati Utsav, is extremely popular across the city. In fact, many students from other colleges also visit to enjoy the breathtaking moments.

My honest review of BB College.
Placements: Our BB college does not have a placement cell because all the courses provided by our college are mainly theoretical, not technical courses like engineering ones like B.Tech, BCA, etc. My course is B.A. Hindi honors, in which the Hindi language is taught deeply.
Infrastructure: Our college is in a very big area. It has science, arts, administrative, and NCC buildings. It has two libraries and a big playground as well. Classrooms are normal size, not too fancy. Different canteens are available on our campus, so there is no issue with food.
Faculty: Teachers of the Hindi department are really good and helpful to us. Faculty members have done at least post-graduation, and some have also done PhDs. The teaching methods vary by teacher, but so far, I have not had any difficulties studying here.

2015 was the golden period for placements.
Placements: Around 52% of students get placed. The lowest package is Rs. 50,000 per annum and the highest package is 2.5 LPA. Infosys and some other companies like Airtel, Jio, and other telephone companies visit our college for placements. Around 42% of students got internships from my course.
Infrastructure: Food is good and hygiene is also well-maintained. Prices are high. Maggi is Rs. 20 and other items are also high priced but they are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They sort problems of academic and life too. The new education policy is hard to understand and I still struggle with the subject selection. Exams are moderate but the checks done during examinations are very tough. Faculty members are good but some demerits are also present but they can be ignored. Overall, the faculty members are quite good.
Other: I chose this course because I need a graduation degree for exams like CGL and CHSL. The education policy needs some changes. Cultural, social, and sports activities are conducted very nicely. A fest is going to happen in our college on February 27 and 28 in which Kunal Ganjawala is going to perform.

Everything is average, but the infrastructure should be better and hygienic.
Placements: Placement is not guaranteed from our college because of the highest number of students who are preparing for many courses. It's not possible for any institution to provide placement to all of them. That's why there are fewer placement chances in our college for students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor; it should be more hygienic, and development is also not taking place in our college. As it is a government college, the government should look for the development and maintenance of our college so that students can feel proud to go to college.
Faculty: Faculty curriculum and exams for our courses are literally average. We have experienced that exams are taking place at the right time, but question papers should be familiar with the students who are preparing for their courses, and we want our exams to be taken in a friendly manner.
Other: I think that infrastructure should be more hygienic and development should take place as soon as possible.
