Hello, all the private engineering colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh have to admit students upto level 70% via the centralized admission process. Balance 30% seats are reserved as management quota. Under this qota, the management can offer admission directly to the students who otherwise meet all the criteria for admission in the engineering college without having to give this centralised entrance test conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh called EAMCET. However it is always better to appear for this exam and clear it and have some ranking.

Hello, aah, a very interesting query. These days students invariably look for courses which will get them some job after completion of graduation. Compared with the graduates of science, commerce or arts, the graduates in engineering branches have much better chances of landing the job after completion of their college or getting their degree. This is one of the main reasons why students flock to this college. Another important reason perhaps is that this is a college which is exclusively for women. Perhaps, many girls who otherwise would not have taken admission in a co-ed institution are encouraged to take admission in this all girls college. One more reason could be the finances. Fees charged by this college is very reasonable as compared with fees of colleges in major cities like Vishakhapatnam etc. Best wishes to you.

Hello, all the private engineering colleges are allowed to admit students up to about 30% of the intech capacity under what is called a management quota. Balance 70% seeds are filled up based on the ranking obtained by the students in EAMCET conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh. Technically speaking, the students who are seeking admission under management quota, need not appear for the entrance exam conducted by the state of Andhra Pradesh for admissions to engineering colleges. However it is always better to appear for either this or JEE Mains or any other national level entrance exam for engineering colleges so that the ranking obtained in any of these examinations can be used for admission in the management quota. Best wishes to you.

As a student of Bapatla Women's Engineering College, I can share that getting in through Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is quite possible if you have a decent rank, especially depending on the branch you choose. For example, in my year, the cutoff for CSE was around 64,000 to 83,000, and for AI & ML, it was slightly better—between 68,000 to 74,000. ECE had the highest closing rank, going up to about 1.4 lakh, which means even students with moderate scores could get in. I got into my preferred branch by staying under 80,000, which seems to be a safe zone for CSE and AI & ML. If you belong to a reserved category like OBC, SC, or ST, you can get in with a higher rank since those categories have separate cutoffs. Based on recent years, if you're aiming for CSE, try to keep your rank below 80k, and for ECE, even ranks up to 1.3–1.4 Lacs should work. So overall, I'd say the cutoffs are not too tough compared to top government colleges, and BWEC gives a great opportunity for girls to get into engineering without crazy competition.

I'm currently a student at Bapatla Women's Engineering College, and honestly, the faculty here has been quite good overall. Most of the professors are well-qualified, especially in departments like CSE and ECE, with many of them holding M.Tech degrees and having several years of teaching experience. They're approachable and willing to clarify doubts both during and after class, which really helps when you're struggling with a concept. I've personally found them supportive—not just academically, but also when it comes to placements and projects. They even conduct workshops and training programs to keep us updated with the latest technologies, like the recent one on Deep Learning with NVIDIA Jetson Nano. Of course, there are times when the class schedule can feel a bit packed or rushed, but that's something you'll find in most engineering colleges. Overall, I'd say the teaching here is solid, and the faculty genuinely put in the effort to guide us properly.
