Overall, I would rate my college 9/10. It has almost everything at its best, & I would recommend it.
Placements: I am in the first year, though when I reach the final year of MBBS. I will get an internship at my own college from the West Bengal government, which provides one of the highest internship stipends compared to other medical colleges in India, about Rs. 45,000. As we are in a medical college, we do not get any other internships except medicine-related ones. Various other medical camps regarding placement are also provided, which are worth it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, but the only issue is that the campus is small. Everything provided by the college is excellent. Labs have all the equipment available, and Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms and the library are also good. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available, and every department is well maintained with proper facilities. The auditorium is currently under construction. The gym is also under construction, as the college was established in 2022.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and mostly very good. As you know, WBJEE/medical exams are among the toughest. All semester and professional exams are strictly conducted and fully monitored by cameras. Semester exams are more difficult than professional exams.
Other: The best thing is that the campus does not have too much of a crowd. The patient flow in the hospital is very high, which helps us practice and learn better. The college fest, Axon, is conducted for about three days. The college is well connected to the city since it is located within the city.
