It has a good academic environment, but it needs better labs and Wi-Fi connection.

Placements: BU Bhopal is a very good university. The highest package offered in this college is 15 LPA. The average package offered in this college is 5 LPA. 50 percent of students get internships and placements. Companies like TCS, etc., hire students. 50 to 60 percent of students got internships from my course in many companies.

Infrastructure: BU offers 6 hostels on campus, i.e., 3 boys and 3 girls hostels. Wi-Fi connectivity is decent. Labs are good. The library is good. It offers hostels like Munshi Premchand Hostel, Jawahar Hostel, and Sanjay Gandhi Hostel near the college campus. It has an excellent environment and good hostel quality.

Faculty: Our college has good faculty members. Our college staff members, HOD and TG, communicate well. They are supportive, helpful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The pass percentage is the 5 SGPA. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready.

Other: I am from the B.Tech (CSE) batch at BUIT Bhopal. I chose this course because I have a strong interest in programming. The campus is large. The railway station and ISBT bus stand are not very far from the college.

Life in Barkatullah University Institute of Technology

Placements: Eighty percent placement rate of our college, the highest package is 10 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are VOLVO and MPDSE, making them the main recruiters. The rate of students securing internships is commendable, and the students who got placed are already industry-ready, mainly due to our teachers and professors.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure deserves appreciation, as there are separate labs for each branch of our college. However, regarding the hostel, it is not very friendly, as there is no warden, rules are lax, and the mess is poorly managed with lazy staff.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified as per my thoughts and the teaching quality is also very good. The TPO is working great as the students are getting placed in the companies. Exams are very strict and student-friendly. Cheating is not an option.

Other: I opted for this course because it has a better future, and the course has a high payslip.

Barkatullah University has a good location and a big campus.

Placements: Earlier, there was no placement, but with time the placement cell became better. Now the local companies have started visiting with packages of 3-4 LPA. Day by day, it is becoming better. Hope the TPO of the college does better. There are lots of business development roles.

Infrastructure: Campus life is good. The college is below average, so my recommendation is not to join. There is no permanent faculty, no cultural program, and no fest, everything is boring. Hostel life is good. There are no restrictions, you can do whatever you want, and there is no one to check on you.

Faculty: Faculty are below average. There is no permanent faculty. Their way of teaching is poor, and no regular classes are conducted. You have to study by yourself. You have to do everything yourself. Semester exams can be cleared if you are good at studying. Semester exam cleared if you study one night before.

The quality of study is very good and the staffs are very knowledgeable and intelligent.

Placements: 80-90% of students are placed in our college. The highest package is 15 LPA. The lowest package is 4 LPA. The average package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, Wipro, etc. 70-80% of students got internships in your college in company like TCS.

Infrastructure: The facilities available in course are labs like computer lab, civil lab, mechanic lab, engineering drawing lab, etc. Library is also available in the department, The central library is also available on campus. The quality of food available in hostel is good. They also provide medical facilities. But there is no canteen on the campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified. Every staff member has done their Ph.D. They are very knowledgeable. The quality of teaching is very good. The courses are very helpful for the students and it makes students industry-ready. Exams are not too much difficult. The passing percentage is 33%.

Other: I am choosing this course because I am interested in this field. I am curious to know about the technology. The improvement in the course is to provide more practical knowledge. Not too much events and fests are there in this college.

Disappointed with environment, good placements in 2025, and the faculty members are good.

Placements: Honesty speaking, the placements are not that good in this particular college. I have been in college for the past 3 years and I haven't seen much companies coming for placement purposes. But this year few companies are coming for various branches so seeing that slowly the placement percentage is increasing.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are okay as labs of some subjects are available and some are not. Classrooms are good and big for many students. There is no mess or canteen. There is a canteen but now that also has beeclosedse from past few months. No such sports, games, and events take place in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members of different branches are good. The education quality of this particular college is good. I am from civil branch so if I say about the civil branch good faculty members are teaching us. Semester exams are of 60 marks (theory) of which 20 marks are passing marks which is not that difficult to score if you are studying properly. There are practical exams.

Other: I have earned diploma in civil branch so I chose to graduate and came to this college by lateral entry (directly in 2nd year). There are not much fests and nothing happens, just okay environment.

Other core branches like Mechanical and Civil have a very low placement rate. The faculty for all courses and branches is good, and each department has separate faculty members. Other: Barkatullah University is good for campus life, and the campus of BU is very big, peaceful, and green in nature.
