BBK DAV College for Women Application Process 2021

Students are required to buy the application form along with the prospectus
After filling the application form completely, candidates need to get the form signed by their parents/guardians
After the signature, get the application form checked from the Subject Verification Board
Selected candidates will be called for personal interview and admission wil be done on first cum first serve merit basis
Finalised candidates need to submit the photographs in the office to collect the identity card
Students are required to deposit 4 coloured photographs for ID card

Note: It is mandatory for all students to enroll themselves online too.

BBK DAV College for Girls, Amritsar.

Placements: There are nearly 40-50% of students placed by the college. It also depends on the number of students, and the difference also varies yearly. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc. A total of 5 students got internships in top companies in my class. Many companies offer various roles.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and buildings of BBK DAV College are very nice and well-maintained. The infrastructure is very beautiful, with gardens, parks, playgrounds, and many other clubs available. The facilities provided by the hostels are also first-class.

Faculty: No doubt, all the faculty and teaching staff are highly qualified and experienced. All the teachers are very helpful to their students. They help all the students at any time without any hesitation. The course curriculum is good, but with not many students in my course, interest is declining. Exams are conducted timely, and they also provide revision and practice tests for scoring good marks.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Above 70% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Above 80% of students got internships. Top roles offered are manager, CEO, etc. Wipro is the top recruiting company.

Infrastructure: Our college does not provide good infrastructure and facilities. The library is not good. Classrooms are not good in condition. The hostel facility is below average. The food served in the hostel is not good. Games are good. There is no canteen in our college.

Faculty: All teachers are good. They have great knowledge, but they don't share it with every student. The course is average. Exams are very difficult. The passing marks are above 18 out of 50 marks.

Other: I chose this course because I want to become an entrepreneur. Our course should provide practical knowledge. Our college conducts only a few events and extracurricular activities.

A college for efficient studies.

Placements: Almost all the students get placements from the college. The highest package offered is 500,000 per annum, and the lowest is 200,000 per annum. Companies like Axis Bank, HDFC, and various other insurance companies come for recruitment. There are quite high management roles offered.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not really pleasing. When you look at the ambience and sanitation, you would not be satisfied enough with it. I personally feel when it comes to infrastructure, it is the poorest of all. The canteen area is also not really soothing, so it's not up to mark.

Faculty: Yes, when it comes to faculty and exams, everything is just perfect. Personal attention is provided to the students. Exams are held twice a year, with mid-semester exams too. But the pressure is not too high. It can be coped with and managed easily.

Other: I chose B.Com with a specialization in finance here. The best part is the subjects provided; they are mostly efficient and practical enough to prepare us for the outside world.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available in the course /department is good in labs, classrooms, library. Wi-fi is available also. The quality of facilities in hostel is good also. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical, sports and games faculty members are too good also.

Faculty: The teachers are Helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. This course is curriculum relevant. It makes the students industry ready. The exams are not much difficult in this college. 35% percentage is required for pass percentage .

Placements: About 40% of students got placements at Wipro, Aazad, etc. Placements start in the third year, and teachers prepare us for interviews. We are provided with proper training on how to deal with the interviewers.

Infrastructure: There is greenary all around.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, knowledgeable, and well-trained. They guide students in every field. They make sure that all the concepts are clear to students. Teachers are very humble and polite. They treat all students equally.

Other: Discipline is maintained properly. On Monday, all students are required to wear a white uniform. There is a morning assembly every Monday.
