The chronicles of Punjab University.
Placements: Placements were very limited, with only 5 out of 50 students getting placed. Some internal politics were going on in the placement process. Students from another branch got more placement opportunities than ours because the placement cell head was from their branch. Moreover, students with compartments were not even allowed to sit for placements.
Infrastructure: University building is in great condition. The only reason for giving a bad review here is the hostel. First of all, each floor has six washrooms, and out of those six, only one is functional. On some floors, none of the washrooms are functional. The drainage system in the hostel is also problematic. Sometimes, the water does not drain properly and comes near the nearby rooms.
Faculty: Faculty is great, at least in our branch. They are very cooperative and support students a lot. They don't just teach. They also interact with students in class. They are proficient in their subjects and teach well. They are also very cooperative if any student is going through a problem.

Satisfied with everything. Lectures, teachers, and everything are the best.
Placements: 85% to 89% of students were placed in 2025. The highest package is approximately 7.5–9 LPA. The lowest package is 1.5–2 LPA. The average package is about 4–5 LPA. It is a nursing institute, so every student gets a 100% internship as per the order of the INC (Indian Nursing Council). It is mandatory to complete an internship to get a degree or diploma. Many hospitals, like EMC and SGRD Amritsar, and hospitals outside the country offer placements to students. The roles can include staff nurse or medical assistant. Further studies, such as an M.Sc., can lead to higher positions.
Infrastructure: I am a day scholar, so I don't know much about the hostel. However, as I have heard from hostelers, the hostel mess and accommodation are good. The food is good and nutritious. There are 24/7 medical facilities. Enjoyment and outings are available as needed. Free Wi-Fi with good speed is also available. In my view, it is better for hostelers.
Faculty: Every teacher is highly qualified. They have good communication skills. They are friendly. They are helpful to every student in every situation, whether it involves counselling or advice. Teachers are highly qualified and trained. They help students become good examples for upcoming students. Exams are difficult when we do not study. However, students who study score well according to their preparation.
Other: Functions are organized well. Everything is available on time.

Army Institute of Law, Mohali, is one of the premier law colleges of India.
Placements: Not just corporate houses, but even some law firms have started visiting our campus for placements. The placement officer heads the placement cell. Around 30% of students this year are placed from campus. In a course which is self-driven, campus placements make things a lot easier for students.
Infrastructure: Our campus area is indeed a little small, but a new AC girls' hostel has been accommodated there. There is just one single block on our campus, and for studies, there is one huge hall named Abhimanyu Hall. There is also an indoor sports room, a well-equipped gymnasium, and a superb cafeteria. Our college is located in Sector 68 in Mohali. There is a huge market adjacent to it. All the necessary essentials can be easily sourced from there.
Faculty: The most remarkable thing about our college is definitely its faculty members. Some are old-school, but some are modern as well. They use presentations and smart ways to teach us. Admission here happens through the Law Entrance Test. The majority of seats at our college are reserved for Army personnel's kids. Studies here are tough, and one has to study really hard to score well.
Other: Since very few students are there in our college, it definitely helps in building a really strong bond among students. From International Moot Court to Parliamentary Debates, our students are sent by the college to all these competitions at the college's expense.

Absolutely satisfying and quite good.
Placements: In our college, students with 80 percent marks got selected and placed. The recruiting companies are Solitaire, Infosys Mohali, and many more and by doing B.Com we can apply in the CA line, etc. The roles offered in our course are that we can apply to the banking line or CA post.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but the college is quite small compared to other colleges. The quality of hostels is very good. The food in the canteen is of mid quality. Sports and games are at quite a good standard. There are no medical facilities inside the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very impressive. The exams are not that difficult. The teachers are quite helpful and very enjoyable. They help us every time we need them and before the exams they also help us revise for the exams.

Affordable with good faculty.
Placements: A lot of students were not placed last year. The package was from 2.8 LPA to 7 LPA, as far as I know. The average would be around 3.2 LPA. Top companies were ThinkNext, Softwizz, etc. 3 out of 10 students got internships in their last semester. Top roles were Software Engineer, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Basic facilities are available. Most water coolers are useless in my department, and everything else just exists. The library is present. The hostel might be near average, but for its price, it's great. Food needs to be improved, and so does the mess contractor. Medical facilities are good, as are the sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty is well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good. However, the course curriculum needs some improvement regarding today's industry standards. Semester exams are conducted fairly. Students need to study a bit beforehand to pass, but sometimes they are easy too. Exams are of 50 marks, and the remaining 50 marks are based on assignments and attendance.
Other: I chose this course because I was very good at coding. Hence, I chose Computer Science. The best thing is the faculty, for sure. The curriculum, washrooms, and drinking water need improvement. Events happen sometimes, and a lot of scholarships are available for students.

Good in terms of faculty for the price.
Placements: Most students don't get placed in my degree, and overall I would say 2 out of 10. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, HackwithInfy, and a few more. About 10 percent of students got internships in their last year. Top roles offered are digital marketing, graphic designer, marketing head, sales, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available, labs are not that great for the first two years but are now alright. Classrooms are just about alright. The library is on the top floor and useful sometimes. Hostel facilities are just okay, to be fair, quite affordable. Quality of food is below average. Medical and sports facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful from day one. They are very qualified and knowledgeable in most cases. Teaching quality is top-notch in my opinion. The curriculum is not that relevant, it is outdated. Semester exams are difficult most of the time. The passing percentage is 35 percent maybe.
Other: I was trying to get into a computer course, so I got here. The best thing is it's very affordable. The curriculum and hostel mess have a lot to improve. Events happen sometimes, the campus crowd is average, and scholarships are available.
