This is one of the best colleges in India. I recommend others to take admission to this college.
Placements: About 20% of students were placed from our course. The salary package offered was 1 LPA. About 80% of students got internships from our course. I have taken admission in B.Tech in computer science and engineering because I think it is the future demand of the private sector in the country.
Infrastructure: There are completely air-conditioned classrooms here. All the qualities of the hostel are fabulous. There are all the facilities like a canteen, games, sports, etc. Curricular activities are also available in this college. They really inspire students in every way. I really love this.
Faculty: The teachers here told us about the exam related questions. Our teachers really worked hard for us, and we are very thankful to them. They inspire students towards new things, games, sports and all other things. It is a very good thing in our college. I recommend others to take admission to this college.
Other: I chose this course for the future demand of private sectors in the country. This is the most important course for me.

If you want a good future, please don't take admission in BITS.
Placements: I'm from the 2010-2014 batch, and there were 150 students in the mechanical branch. None of the students was placed from the campus. Even our seniors were not placed. None of the companies visited our campus for placements. Indian army visited our campus for recruitment. Even after that, the placement record of the campus was 0%. There is no placement cell. We have to get industrial training opportunities on our own. They don't even conduct any industry visits.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs are of good quality. But there is no Wi-Fi facility available in computer labs. We can't even use computers in our spare time. The library is nice, and we can get all the books related to our study there. However, we can't borrow more than 3 books from the library. There is a peaceful atmosphere in the library to study. Medical facilities are provided here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are the main reason because of which the college lacks behind. Teachers were neither qualified nor knowledgeable. They don't help us with our doubts as they don't have knowledge related to the subject. The education quality was very poor. However, almost 2-3 teachers were very good, but the rest of the faculty members were poor. We don't get any industry exposure.
Other: There were no fest and extracurricular activities in the college.

Other: You have to realize that the monetary value of whatever money you spend in BITS for your education is extremely less than what you stand to gain in the 4-5 years. Yes, of course not everyone becomes successful but even lesser are given an opportunity to become successful. You are ready to spend 10-15 lacs easily on higher education in the U.S.A for a duration of 2 year course but spending 7-8 lacs for a 4 year course and that too much more valuable in your life seems a little too high. I think we are being unfair here. BITS want to become a world class university, that's their vision. But you don't want them to charge even half of the fee that a world class institution charges. That's hypocrisy. Then let's not say we don't have any institute like Harvard, MIT, Stanford and Yale. Yes they are not there right now but they are trying. I support it. I wouldn't have if it would have the case 7 years back. Because I wasn't mature then. Money was a huge deal. Still is. But the reason we earn is clear now to grow. And BITS is a place you grow. Oh, the only disadvantage of being in BITS is that you are used to working with such smart and funny people that it might get a little difficult adjusting in professional world :)

Other: The college is good, with a nice campus and with all equipped facility, we got a great computer lab and library which is now upgraded to digital one, but you may require to face a entrance exam which is not a difficult task if you are through with your basic subjects, except this you will love the hostel and canteen here. Its nice college over all you can count it for other courses also and maybe you find foreigners and NRI too.

Other: A very bad college. It’s not a college it just a business firm. No staff no faculty members. Lack of books in library but worth. Also u will face transportation facilities. No canteen. Please avoid this college and there is no placement as well. Overall not so good college.
