IISc Bangalore fee ranges in INR 18k to INR 8 lakh for the entire tution fee varying upon the choice of programme. The most cost effective programme is MDes at just INR 18k, while the BTech is the most expensive course at INR 8 lakh for the tution fee. The tution fee waivers are applicable for students from PwD category.
- Fee Strucutre: IISc BTech Fee structure is a sum of various components, which include tuition, hostel fees, and security deposits. While certain fees are charged only once by IISc Bangalore, others are recurring and payable on a semester or annual basis. The total fee amount may also vary based on the selected course or area of specialisation.
- Payment installments: Annual fees can be paid in three installments, with the first installment of 35% for the month of Aug-Oct, Second installment of 35% for Nov-Dec, and the third installment of 30% for the Jan-July month.
- Payment modes: The insitute only accepts online payments in the form of Credit/ Debit card, Netbanking, Rupay cards, and UPI.
- Hostel Fee: The hostel fee ranges in INR 3,600 to 7,200 annually depending upon the course and the room type. The rooms are offered in double sharing as well as single sharing formats. The hostel fee differs for the General category and SC/ ST category students. The insitute also has a provision for married appartments.
- Other Hostel Fees: The other fee component for hosteliers, include Establishment charges, Amenities charges, Electricity & water charges, and Mess Amenities charges.

The IISc Bangalore BSc fees is INR 40,000. The duration of the course is four years. The eligibility criteria for admissions should pass Class 12 with 60% aggregate and Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are the compulsory subjects in their qualifying exam along with any other subjects. The entrance exam accepted includes JEE Main, JEE Advanced, IISER Entrance Exam, NEET.
The university does not charge any extra application fee as per course requirement. The charges are will be same across all the courses. Candidates can check the list of application fee from the points mentioned below:

IISc Bangalore BTech admission is based on JEE Advanced score. Admission is given through counselling by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). Aspirants need to register for JoSAA counselling. No separate application is required to be submitted on the IISc admission portal.
