It is a horrible college, so I suggest students not to join this college at any cost.
Placements: Placements here are negligible, and only 2 to 3 students got placed in 2019 with a low salary. Management blames students for no placements and internships. There are no internships for students in this college. I don't recommend this college for academically good students as they would suffer severely.
Infrastructure: Buildings here are old, and Wi-Fi facility is not available. Moreover, there is no mobile network. The mechanical department has a separate building, which is closed very recently by them. CSE and ECE departments are clubbed into one building. There is no maintenance in our college. Labs here are old, and the canteen is like a roadside snack shop.
Faculty: Our college follows VTU syllabus. Teachers here are not knowledgeable. However, some lecturers are good and knowledgeable, but most of them are newly joined and do not teach well. Lab technicians are just average to teach students. Some teachers don't even speak proper English. None of the teachers has followed COVID-19 protocols.
Other: I suggest students not to join this college.

The review of BTL Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: The college offers only a few placement opportunities, and the management should try for the students to get placed in good companies. They should also provide good and genuine training sessions in the college. Many students join in the engineering course to get a job after the completion of their course, so they should provide an environment for the students who are in need.
Infrastructure: Apart from some small problems, there are no such big problems with the infrastructure of the college. However, some of the classrooms in our department needs to be renovated. The weather is usually nice and cool here, and there is a huge playground to play games like cricket etc. There are not many issues with the infrastructure. However, the infrastructure doesn't affect good education.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are good, and almost all of them are friendly. Our professors are good at teaching. They will help the students who are eager to study, and even the management should encourage its students. All the faculty members in the ECE department are good. Even the faculty members of all the other departments are good. They are friendly with the students of other branches too. The coordination between students and professors is good. They teach well during our lab sessions.

I am satisfied with the faculty. The infrastructure looks well, and our labs are good.
Placements: Placements in college were good for seniors. Almost 20% of our seniors were placed in different companies with a salary package of 3-6 LPA. Placement drives are going on for our batch now. On last March 8th, we had Udhyogamela too, and around 50 companies visited our college during that drive. Almost 105 students got placed in different companies. Placement opportunities are very useful for students as the development of the students depends on placement opportunities provided by the college.
Infrastructure: All of our departments are Wi-Fi enabled. Libraries are good and are equipped with the books of all semesters. Sports are played every year. Our college participated in state-level volleyball and athletics events. The canteen and bakery corner are also available here. Hostel rooms and food served are good. I am not facing any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: Faculty members of the college are very good and friendly. They are available for students all the time. The quality of teaching is good. They teach using blackboard and projectors. They help in other activities like seminar, internships, and projects. They also support extracurricular activities. Every year, the syllabus is completed in time, and they revise at least half the portion.
Other: The fest is conducted in the college every year. I got the scholarship in all the 4 years of my course. Events like ethnic day, women's day, and others are conducted every year.

The college is the best place for students to learn.
Placements: I am working for Accenture, and I got a very good position. I have gained knowledge from good teachers. Companies visited the college to offer placements. The college had tie-ups with many companies.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms and library n the college are very neat and good. They are in good condition. Computers are very good and up to date. The college provides transport facilities as well. Wi-Fi facility is available for faculty members. The security is good for students in the college.
Faculty: Students gain very good knowledge and build a good profile in the college. The teachers in the college were very friendly. They helped students with their projects and studies as well. I have done projects with the help of our college.
Other: Events, fests and campus crowd in the college are very good.

Review of BTL Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: The placements are the worst, as only Merchant Navy tried to recruit students who pay money (bulk amount) for learning marine engineering, but none of the students was interested in joining by spending money on it. Nandi Toyota has attempted to recruit the students of our senior batch with an annual package of 1.20 Lacs per annum. Only 3 students were selected out of 100+ students. The placed students were disappointed with their work and pay package and left without any experience letter although they worked for some months or years. Students who are willing to join engineering to get a good career, please don't opt for this college.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facilities are available. All the departments are allotted only one block, and only the mechanical and civil engineering branches have a separate block. Classrooms are enough spacious with old furniture. Labs are equipped with old machines, where most of the equipment won't work. There is no modern or important machinery. The library is enriched with old books (updated books are not available). Medical facilities are not available. Games are average. Sports are organised once a year. There is a gym in the campus (I didn't see it open during my tenure of 4 years). Food available in the canteen was somewhat acceptable, but few varieties were available. The canteen doesn't have enough seating arrangements. Food provided in the hostel is average.
Faculty: Some teachers were very helpful for the students to get good marks in internals but they weren't good in terms of knowledge for teaching. Some lecturers tried to teach even though they don't know to teach. Overall, the teaching quality is bad. The blackboard teaching still exists in BTLIT as the classrooms are not digitalised yet. Students do not get any industrial exposure. I suggest you that if your family is financially well-settled and don't depend on your earning in future and if you want to join engineering just to get a graduation certificate, you can opt for BTLIT, in which you can have good memories of four years. If you are from a middle-class family with a mind to aspire good knowledge and career, please don't opt for BTLIT even if you are offered with SNQ.
Other: We did not organise many events rather than intra-college cricket tournament. But, the departmental fests are conducted every year. The campus crowd is the same compared to other colleges. Although it is located in the corner of Bangalore (near to Hour), BMTC (Volvo/normal), KSRTC buses are available towards KR Market, Majestic, MG Road, Banashankari, Shivajinagar, Anekal, and Attibele. The campus is surrounded by a compound of fence wire, old and good trees, good playground, SBI ATM, small bakery and canteen. There is a facility of getting pass government scholarships for the students who claimed their seats through CET. The college is less interested in extra-curricular and curricular activities.

Our college has poor placements with average infrastructure.
Placements: Our college has poor placements. There is no assurance of placements in our college. Some companies came to the campus, but most of them didn't hire the students. Placement training provided is not good. Only small companies are coming to the campus. Only a few students get hired by those companies. There is no assurance of getting a good job.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average, but the college area is vast. The laboratories are average. We have a good library. The toilet facilities are poor. We have a parking facility. We have the hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel facilities are average, but the food is not good. We have a playground to play various sports and games.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are very good. Few teachers are very helpful. They are always close to the students. They are good at teaching. They are well-versed and has good communication skills. They maintain a better relationship with the students.
