Review of BTL Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: The placements are the worst, as only Merchant Navy tried to recruit students who pay money (bulk amount) for learning marine engineering, but none of the students was interested in joining by spending money on it. Nandi Toyota has attempted to recruit the students of our senior batch with an annual package of 1.20 Lacs per annum. Only 3 students were selected out of 100+ students. The placed students were disappointed with their work and pay package and left without any experience letter although they worked for some months or years. Students who are willing to join engineering to get a good career, please don't opt for this college.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi facilities are available. All the departments are allotted only one block, and only the mechanical and civil engineering branches have a separate block. Classrooms are enough spacious with old furniture. Labs are equipped with old machines, where most of the equipment won't work. There is no modern or important machinery. The library is enriched with old books (updated books are not available). Medical facilities are not available. Games are average. Sports are organised once a year. There is a gym in the campus (I didn't see it open during my tenure of 4 years). Food available in the canteen was somewhat acceptable, but few varieties were available. The canteen doesn't have enough seating arrangements. Food provided in the hostel is average.
Faculty: Some teachers were very helpful for the students to get good marks in internals but they weren't good in terms of knowledge for teaching. Some lecturers tried to teach even though they don't know to teach. Overall, the teaching quality is bad. The blackboard teaching still exists in BTLIT as the classrooms are not digitalised yet. Students do not get any industrial exposure. I suggest you that if your family is financially well-settled and don't depend on your earning in future and if you want to join engineering just to get a graduation certificate, you can opt for BTLIT, in which you can have good memories of four years. If you are from a middle-class family with a mind to aspire good knowledge and career, please don't opt for BTLIT even if you are offered with SNQ.
Other: We did not organise many events rather than intra-college cricket tournament. But, the departmental fests are conducted every year. The campus crowd is the same compared to other colleges. Although it is located in the corner of Bangalore (near to Hour), BMTC (Volvo/normal), KSRTC buses are available towards KR Market, Majestic, MG Road, Banashankari, Shivajinagar, Anekal, and Attibele. The campus is surrounded by a compound of fence wire, old and good trees, good playground, SBI ATM, small bakery and canteen. There is a facility of getting pass government scholarships for the students who claimed their seats through CET. The college is less interested in extra-curricular and curricular activities.

Overall, it is not a bad college for who studies well they can get a job anywhere.
Placements: There are no placements in this college, but they will send you to other colleges for the placements. I heard that, in 2016, some students are placed from the college itself that too in computer science and information technology. Overall, I don't prefer this college for good students as they will suffer badly in future.
Infrastructure: I would rate it 6 out of 10. It has a separate building for mechanical and civil, and rest are in the same building. The hostel facility is good enough, and the playground is awesome. It has a gym, and it can be used by the hostel and outside students, and it has indoor games as well.
Faculty: Overall, the faculty are good, and some are too much-experienced professors. Main lectures are good, and labs are good enough for students. Many students attended courses in others institutions and these things are good in college. The lectures in computer science and electrical are good.

If u join this college you people spoil your life.
Placements: Compare to my senior batch, we suffer very poor placements and oly 3 to 4 guys got some the worst companies. But they are not ready to join the company. It shows how poor placements in our college. Finally in one word they are cheating and playing game with students life.
Infrastructure: Very poor infrastructure and in library not even a single academic books all are old versions and not helpful for students. No Wi-Fi, the worst labs not having good and costly equipments and also important equipments are not available, the worst canteen also, let's come to sports they are little supportive and good. Hustle rooms and food also the worst funds.
Faculty: Teachers are not well knowledge, but they are helpful for the internal marks. All lectures are qualified but they don't teach students deeply and understandably, simply came and talk some non academic things at last teach some points and moved out. As compared to my batch by junior strength is very, very poor. Student-faculty ratio is 1:15, no industry visits just said for industry visit but they planned for trips see this thing happens actually. Somehow we passed out by God sake. I hope u people helpful my feedback.
Other: Some vtu sports events are hosting previous years and in last 5 years oly 2017 we made pressure to authority to organize fests, before even graduation day also not available in this college, there is no compound for d college free to came anyone early this is what situation in this college. No scholarships nothing oly authorities try to fool for rural village student parents to seek their money by telling lies about the college don't make you people fool be aware while joining.

Normally satisfied with the college as there are no good placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Hardly two companies had come, out of which only one company hired three people. Those two companies are Nandi Toyota Service Centre and Vinyl Engineering as both are small-scale industry jobs. The salary offered was 1 lakh 20 thousand per year. The roles offered to the students are production engineer and service engineer. It wasn't useful as the persons who worked there didn't receive experience letter.
Infrastructure: The labs are in bad condition labs with old equipment. The classrooms are good on the campus. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The sports was good. The food quality was okay in canteens and hostels. The infrastructure was old but sustainable. The only mechanical department has a separate building, which is a good one.
Faculty: The faculty members were not qualified. The new engineering pass outs were hired for teaching. The normal board based teaching methods were used. There is no industry exposure. The faculty to student ratio was low and not good at teaching as all are newcomers. We have to be dependent on our own for exams.
Other: Every year, the college organises the fest. The campus crowd was good. The sports are given preference on the campus.

It is a good college with a good campus.
Placements: There are loads of placements happening in BTLIT such as Toyota, Ashok Layland, Biocon etc. They give good support in all the ways.
Placement and Training centre serves as a link between academia and Industry. It organises seminars, technical workshops, personality development programs and other training programs. The career guidance and placement bureau play a pivotal role in preparing students for their future careers and for their life after the college.
Infrastructure: This campus is very cool with loads of trees and grass, by which you will get the fresh air with a good atmosphere. There are good sports facility and nature is awesome. The infrastructure of BTLIT is just above average. Although the campus is pretty big and spacious with comfortable and airy classrooms, the main problem lies with the lab equipment which is ancient and works intermittently. Many books in the library are old edition ones & the students do not actually use new books as they are reference books. There is a Wi-Fi internet present on the campus, but it goes down every once in a while. LAN is reliable, but there is only a limited number of computers.
Faculty: The faculty here is very good, and there is a hostel facility too. There is a huge playground
where we conduct several sports. They also conduct the annual and other curricular activities, etc. The infrastructure of BTLIT is just about average. Although the campus is pretty big and spacious with comfortable and airy classrooms, the main problem lies with the lab equipment which is ancient and works intermittently.
