Yes, candidates having qualifying degree in B.Com can apply for GATE exam to get admission to the master's programmes in IITs and IISc. You can apply for two GATE papers (maximum). While filling out the GATE application form, you need to select the primary and secondary paper. - The same applies to the female, SC, ST, and PwD category candidates, INR 2000 (during the regular time period) and INR 3000 (during the extended period).

Application form for CRIS 2025 Recruitment through GATE
The application form for CRIS will be released online at the official website cris.org.in. Candidates cannot send the CRIS recruitment application form offline. One candidate should fill out a single application form only because more than one application form may lead to the rejection of the candidature. CRIS online form-filling procedure comprises – registration, form filling, uploading a photo & signature, and payment of the application fee. - Go to the CRIS official website.
- Accept the terms & conditions and then enter email id and mobile number for CRIS registration.
- You will receive login credentials in the registration email id and contact number.
- Now fill the form. You have to provide personal details, Qualifications, eligibility details, and GATE score card details.
- In the next step, candidates have to upload a photograph and signature in 80 kb in jpg/jpeg format and the required certificates in 500 kb in PDF/JPG/JPEG format only.
- The application fee can be paid through Internet Banking /Debit Card/Credit Card only from the State Bank of India (SBI) website's State Bank Collect system.
