Admisision process is BMAT+GD+PI for MBA programme. A candidate should appear for BMAT exam out 200 marks with no Negative markings. For UG programmes candidates are shortlisted depending upon their 10+2 marks from any recognised board. Once Final List is released Candidates are requested to check their details whether they are selected or not. Once selected a candidate should pay their mentioned fee as a successful completion of their admission.
Admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research is based on scores obtained in BMAT or BUMAT exams. The BUMAT exam is for BBA and BCA course. It is a 2.5-hour-long test carrying 200 questions from English, Mathematics and Reasoning areas. Preparations for BUMAT must start ideally months before the date of examination. Candidates must focus on their preparation six to eight months prior to the exam date. This will allow candidates to cover all the topics of the exam, take mock tests and refine their test taking skills. Candidates must download the BUMAT previous year question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern and difficulty level of the question paper.
For Management courses, the university conducts BMAT. The entrance exams will be in a multiple-choice format, carrying subject-specific questions. The exam will be conducted in both computer-based test mode as well as internet-based test mode or online proctored mode. BMAT syllabus is prescribed by the BVDU. The BMAT syllabus outlines the section-wise topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. Candidates can refer to the BMAT question paper to prepare for the exam.
BVIMR admissions 2025-26 are currently open for various courses. Althought several application processes and entrance tests have been completed in the month of June, 2025, students can still apply for other courses like the BA programs. Library: BVIMR Library is a knowledge resource centre with over 67,900 books and over 71 national and international journals and magazines. A separate research section has a good stock of old issues of journals, magazines, news papers, and research reports. The Library has subscribed to the EBSCO online journal, which is a collection of over 1200 e-journals.
Hostel: The institute has a residential campus with two girls' hostel buildings, accommodating about 100 girls from BVIMR.
