No, the institute does not accept CAT score for admission to MBA programme. Selection to MBA programme is done through two stages, in first stage candidates are shortlisted based on the marks scored in B-MAT exam. In second stage shortlisted candidates have to appear for GD and PI round conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) at the following centres:

First of all IMR won't release any cutoff marks for admission in MBA programme.But Students who scored a mark of 150 and above in BMAT exam are in a safe side.Also candidates Bachelor degree's aggregates and PI plays a very crucial role in Selection as Final List is based on that.But min 50% aggregate in Bachelor's degree is basic criteria for Selection for Applying in BMAT exam.Also candidates are given their merit rank at the time of result.So accordingly selection will be done on basis of their merit.

Yes, BMAT is a common entrance test for MBA students which is for 200 marks with no negative marks and 1 mark for each correct answer. Also Final list for selection is prepered based on BMAT exam +GD+PI. UG programmes students are selected from their 10+2 scores from any recognised boards. Foreign/NRI students have a separate Selection process for joining into the institute. This selection process is purely on merit basis. Students have to apply for the course in website.
For regular category students, the BMAT exam is a must, along with GD and PI. Selection is done according to the merit list prepared from the marks they scored in the BMAT exam of 200 marks +GD+PI. Whereas, NRI/Foreign/PIO/OCI/INSTITUTIONAL QUOTA students are selected with a separate merit list prepared depending upon their merit category. The seat intake is 180 for MBA with dual specialisations. The final merit list is a combination of BMAT, GD, and PI scores achieved by the candidate.
Admission to the Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Management and Research is based on scores obtained in BMAT or BUMAT exams. The BUMAT exam is for BBA and BCA course. It is a 2.5-hour-long test carrying 200 questions from English, Mathematics and Reasoning areas. Preparations for BUMAT must start ideally months before the date of examination. Candidates must focus on their preparation six to eight months prior to the exam date. This will allow candidates to cover all the topics of the exam, take mock tests and refine their test taking skills. Candidates must download the BUMAT previous year question papers to get familiar with the exam pattern and difficulty level of the question paper.
For Management courses, the university conducts BMAT. The entrance exams will be in a multiple-choice format, carrying subject-specific questions. The exam will be conducted in both computer-based test mode as well as internet-based test mode or online proctored mode. BMAT syllabus is prescribed by the BVDU. The BMAT syllabus outlines the section-wise topics that candidates need to cover for the exam. Candidates can refer to the BMAT question paper to prepare for the exam.
Admisision process is BMAT+GD+PI for MBA programme. A candidate should appear for BMAT exam out 200 marks with no Negative markings. For UG programmes candidates are shortlisted depending upon their 10+2 marks from any recognised board. Once Final List is released Candidates are requested to check their details whether they are selected or not. Once selected a candidate should pay their mentioned fee as a successful completion of their admission.
I think a score of 150+ is the best for getting admission MBA in IMR.Students who are got that score are assured of getting a seat in MBA.Also Final List will be prepared based on BMAT score+GD+PI.Thus getting into IMR also requires a decent aggregate from your Bachelor's degree .Also XAT/MAT/CAT scores also plays a major role in getting a seat of MBA in IMR.Similiarly for BUMAT 150+ score is safe for getting a seat in BBA and BCA in IMR.Candidates should apply for the exams accordingly.

BUMAT is a computer based exam for selection of students who are applying for BBA And BCA.Its for 200 questions and each correct question carries 1 marks and with no negative markings.After the results are declared Eligible students should appear for councelling .At Councelling candidates 10+2 certificates and TC'S are verified.If everything goes fine, then candidate is selected for his respective BBA or BCA programme.Thus you are a student of IMR.
