This is the top university in Kerala.
Placements: Almost 50% of students got placed in our course. The 2-year tuition fee was around Rs.30,000 - Rs.40,000. Top recruiter was Calicut University. You can teach in your own college. The best role was teacher.
Infrastructure: Our department was very great. We had Wi-Fi in our hostel. Bedrooms were neat and tidy. We had laboratory services according to the course. Library had almost 2 lakh books. We used to study in the study hall, which was open for 24 hours. The quality of the food was good. The canteen was so affordable for students. We had our own health center, and there was no fee for students. Our college provided many athletic games and sports with the facilities of playgrounds and coaches.
Faculty: Faculty members were good. Teachers were great in their way of teaching. We used to enjoy the classes very much. There were so many courses provided by this college. The exam was good, but not great. You must grab the result, which is not that easy.
Other: I love to work as a tutor and I am working as a tutor for 8th class and 7th class students. I worked part-time because I was a student. I used to love that work. Better results can be grabbed by conducting programs with outsiders to know about the way of teaching and other activities. Students gather and conduct programs every day. They are very enjoyable. We conducted cultural and educational programs according to the courses of the students.

Students also asked

Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

A:

B.Ed is usually of two years duration. However, some universities and colleges also offer one-year B.Ed courses to students. The course prepares individuals to be well-trained teachers who can handle children of any age.
