Securing admission to CIPET Ahmedabad is moderately competitive, especially for its flagship B.Tech in Plastics/Polymer Engineering. Candidates need a valid JEE Main or GUJCET score (cutoff typically 50,000–1,00,000 rank for general category) and 60% in 12th (PCM). Diploma lateral-entry admissions are based on state exams. Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) have relaxed cutoffs. While not as tough as top NITs, early application and meeting deadlines are crucial. Check CIPET's 2024 admission brochure for exact criteria.
