It is expected that the entrance test will be conducted online at 300 Centres for BTech/BE, BArch and BPlanning across the country. The exam acts as a gateway for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) – India’s premier engineering students.

NTA releases the JEE Main 2024 admit card on the official website for eligible candidates only. To download their JEE mains exam admit card, candidates must enter JEE Main login details like their application number and date of birth on the official website. To change your category, you can make the necessary changes in the JEE Main application form during the correction window, which usually opens for a limited period of time after the first session of the exam is conducted.

GNDU have B.Tech lateral admission. However Electrical engineering branch is not available here. So think about some other branches. Further JEE Main is not required for lateral admission. However University will conduct own entrance exam.

To get into NITs via JEE Mains, you'll need to have passed 12th grade with at least 75% marks (or be in the top 20% of your class). For SC/ST students, the minimum is 65%. There's no upper age limit.

It's impossible to say for sure, but your EWS rank should be significantly better than your CRL rank. Think somewhere in the ballpark of 10,000 to 20,000. This is just an estimate though, as the exact difference can vary each year.

No, you can't change it for JEE Advanced after filling out the Mains form. Your category sticks from Mains to Advanced.
