Chandernagore College is a mixture of Indo-French culture.
Placements: Very few students get placed through our college. Students prefer government job preparation after pursuing the course. Some students in the geography department are placed in local sectors at an average salary package of 2.4 LPA. In our course, there are no internships offered.
Infrastructure: Our Geography department is the most reputed department of our college. Our college has various modern labs with equipment. We have a quality hostel, a gym, other sports, and cultural groups.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very friendly. They have a lot of knowledge in their sectors. The course is well planned and regular basic training occur. We have education excursions every semester. We have internal and semester exams with medium difficulty. The pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: At the University of Burdwan, our college is renowned for its geography department. I think if we get industry exposure, it will be very helpful for us. We have many cultural events but the Holi festival celebration is the best.
