1. The candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology as one of the additional subject.
2. The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category) from a recognised Board / University / Council.
3. Alternatively, the candidate must have passed Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology.
