There is not much support from the faculty members, but still, it is good enough to get through at least one company.

Good infrastructure, supportive faculty and decent placements.
Placements: Our batch of Mechanical Engineering had 75% placements. The highest package was 12 LPA, the lowest was 3.2 LPA, average was 5.5 LPA. Top recruiters were Tata, L&T, Maruti, and Mahindra. 60% got internships at Tata, Adani, and ONGC. Roles were Design, Production, Quality, R&D, and it's great.
Infrastructure: Our department has smart classrooms, Wi-Fi, modern labs, a CAD/CAM center & library. Hostel has clean rooms, Wi-Fi, a good mess & canteen, medical aid, and sports facilities like gym, cricket, football, badminton, ensuring overall student support, and many more.
Faculty: Faculty are well-qualified, supportive & knowledgeable with good teaching quality. Curriculum is industry-relevant with practical exposure & projects. Semester exams are moderately difficult, focusing on concepts. Pass percentage is around 85-90%. And good.
Other: I chose Mechanical Engineering for its core importance in industry. Best part was hands-on labs, projects & campus fests. Wish to see more industry tie-ups & internships. Campus has a lively crowd, good connectivity, scholarships & extracurricular activities.

Infrastructure: The department has modern labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and a digital library. Hostels are clean and comfortable. Food in the mess/canteen is hygienic, and medical support is available on campus. Students also enjoy sports grounds, indoor games, and a gym for recreation.

B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2028

Charusat University offers a clean and disciplined campus with decent infrastructure.
Placements: I am from the B.Tech computer engineering batch of 2025. Around 75-80% of students in our course are placed. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the average package is 4 LPA, and the lowest is about 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, and eInfochips. About 50% of students got internships in companies like TCS iON, Dev Information Tech, and Sophos. The most common roles offered are software developer, QA engineer, web developer, and system analyst. Some students also received business analyst and support roles in non-core companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for my course is well-developed with smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, fully equipped labs, and a well-stocked central library. Hostel rooms are clean and furnished with basic amenities. Mess food is average but hygienic, while the canteen offers decent snacks. Campus has good sports facilities including a cricket ground, basketball court, indoor games, and a gym. Medical support is available on campus with tie-ups for emergencies. Overall, the environment is safe, disciplined, and student-friendly.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are well-qualified, helpful, and have good subject knowledge. Teaching quality is decent, though it varies across departments. Curriculum is mostly relevant and covers core industry topics, but some subjects feel outdated and need updating. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable with regular study. The pass percentage is high, around 85-90%. Students usually clear exams without much trouble. More practical exposure and industry-based projects would help make students better prepared for real-world challenges.
Other: I am from the B.Tech computer engineering batch of 2025. I chose this course due to my interest in programming and technology. The best part is the balance of theory and practical labs, along with a disciplined academic environment. However, more industry exposure, live projects, and a modern curriculum update would improve the course. Events like Cognizance and tech fests are organized, though cultural activities are limited. Campus is clean, well-connected, and has a focused student crowd. Scholarships are available based on merit and need. Extracurricular activities are slowly growing with student participation.

Good infrastructure, helpful faculty, and decent placement opportunities.
Placements: In my batch of computer engineering, about 70-75% of students are placed. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package is about 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and IBM. Around 50-60% of students got internships in companies like TCS, Infosys, and through platforms like Internshala. Top roles offered are software engineer, front-end/back-end developer, system analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: Computer engineering department has well-equipped labs with updated systems, high-speed Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and access to a good library with plenty of resources. Hostel has basic facilities like clean rooms, drinking water, and 24X7 security. The food quality in the mess is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers decent snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus. There are sports grounds for cricket, football, and indoor games for students.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified. Most of them explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is fairly relevant and includes practical labs, but it still needs more industry-oriented subjects. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and mainly test understanding rather than just memorization. The overall pass percentage is quite high, around 80-90%.
Other: I chose computer engineering because of my interest in technology and programming. The best thing about this course is the exposure to coding, software development, and emerging technologies like AI and machine learning. I wish the course included more hands-on projects and industry collaborations. Campus has good connectivity, decent surroundings, and hosts cultural and technical fests every year which are really enjoyable. There are scholarships like MYSY for eligible students and several extracurricular activities such as hackathons, coding competitions, and sports events, that make college life engaging.
