Need improvement in placements.
Placements: I am about to enter my 2nd year now. In my first year, I didn’t get any internship or placement opportunities to see. I even asked my seniors, and during their time too, only a few of them were placed, and the companies that offered placements were just okay, not that great. As we are part of the new NEP batch, maybe that’s why they are bringing some changes. In every college, B.Com students are treated more or less the same, and it’s the same in our college. They have also told us that doing an internship is compulsory.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very large campus, which is kept clean and well-organized. They provide Wi-Fi facility for both students and staff members. Wi-Fi can be accessed in classrooms, labs, the library, and common areas as well. We have three types of labs computer labs, science labs, and media labs for B.M.M. students. Talking about sports, we have indoor games like carrom, table tennis, and chess, as well as outdoor games such as football, volleyball, and many more. We also have a large committee for NCC.
Faculty: Teachers are okay, some are strict, while others are really good and teach very well and clearly. Exams are held semester-wise, with two semesters every year. The exam pattern is quite easy and not too difficult for students. The question papers are mostly based on what is taught in classrooms. One of the biggest benefits is that even if students study at the last moment, they still have a good chance of scoring well in exams. This becomes an advantage for students pursuing professional courses like CA or those involved in NCC, as they can balance both.
Other: I chose this college because I'm planning to do a professional course, and here I can balance my studies with extracurricular activities. The crowd here is okay, not too fancy, but not bad either. We have many college fests and an annual day where students can participate and showcase their hidden talents. I'm not sure about scholarships, so I don’t know much about them. The college offers a lot of extracurricular activities like mehndi competitions, rangoli competitions, and many more. We also celebrate different theme days, which are fun and interesting.

Chetana is an average college for B.Com but can be better.
Placements: 40% of students were placed in my course, and the average package offered to me was from Deloitte, which was the top recruiting company. 70% of students got internships, and none of the roles were offered to me until now. I hope soon I'll get placement in any of the companies.
Infrastructure: We were not allowed in the canteen or to play games until we were part of the sports club. The canteen was only for the management side and for the BMS course. None of the students were from hostels; they just came on time and left on time, and nothing else happened in college. Even the annual day was different for the management/BMS side and one for the B.Com side.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, but all those teachers left the college, and I don't think the new teachers can match the old teachers' vibe. The exam was definitely difficult; there was a 40-mark internal exam and a 60-mark external exam. In the external exam, there were four questions, and each question contained 15 marks.
Other: I chose this course just to have a degree. There was nothing best in my course—no computer class, nothing at all. Chetana College can be better for B.Com too, and it is the best for BMS and management courses. Events and fests were only for management students; for B.Com, they just set up a sound box and played songs—there was nothing as a fest. However, I love the campus crowd during the fest.

It is an average college.
Placements: The highest salary package offered to 50 students is 7 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the MBA course is 6.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top roles offered are accountant, business analyst, stockbroker, finance officer, financial consultant, teacher, budget analyst, accounting manager, etc.
Infrastructure: We have a state-of-the-art seminar room. It is equipped with all facilities. We have workshops. There are around 150 seats in the seminar room. Our college has a library. It has the latest management books by foreign and Indian authors.
Faculty: All teachers are very good. They teach and explain every concept well. They conduct seminars, conferences, guest lectures, and workshops.
Other: Our college offers courses like arts, B.Com, B.A, etc. I chose this course because it offers well-paid jobs.

Dissatisfied because of the infrastructure of the college .
Placements: The percentage of students who got packages at my college is pretty low. The average package in placement my college students get is thirty thousand rupees, and the highest is thirty-five thousand rupees, and the percentage of students getting internships in my college is also low.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is below average because there are a lot of renovations going on and they do not have Wi-Fi available for students. Wi-Fi is only available for teachers and staff of the college, and my college does not have a canteen.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified to be teachers, but the teaching techniques are very poor. Even if you attend the classes, you will nearly understand what the teacher is teaching you. College exams are pretty difficult, and you have to at least score 75 marks in the overall semester to pass to the next grade.
Other: My college doesn't have many fests or events, and even if they did, the management would be terrible. The campus of my college is neat and clean, but the crowd is terrible, there are fights going on even if bullying is banned in college.

Best college in Mumbai university.
Placements: Even though the college website mentions 100% placements, please don't be enticed by it, the placement isn't bad. At least 70% of the students get placed though most of it is unsatisfactory. The average annual package is Rs. 3-5 Lacs depending upon the company that recruits you. Summer internships are in good numbers and most of the gets placed. Some or most try on their own while the lucky and the deserving ones get placed in the placement cell.
Infrastructure: There are two buildings for the management students on the chetana campus. The MS course is conducted in the old building and shares its classes with the commerce students. It also has a gym. There are projector facilities within the classrooms.
Faculty: The teacher and staff of chetana college are awesome. Most of the teachers have immense knowledge of their respective subjects. Professors from the operating department have almost 25-30 years of experience. Rocking isn't it? At the same time, students feel the marketing department is the best of a lot.

It is a very good college for B.Com, arts, and economics.
Placements: Around 80% of students are enrolled in B.Com. The highest salary offered is Rs 9,300 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs 6,400 per month for the B.Com course. Economics, accounts, marketing, and computer are top roles offered by this college.
Infrastructure: Our college premises is very good and beautiful. The classrooms are huge. It has a library and benches are small for 2 students. They provide training for NCC for both boys and girls, and also it has other sports activities. Our college does not have canteen facility.
Faculty: All the teaching staff is very professional, and teaches everything very well. All the teachers are very cooperative. The semester exams are of 100 marks of which 35 is passing marks. Exam is not very hard, if students study hard, then they can score well.
Other: I chose this B.Com course, because of my interest in it. The best thing about course is that some subject are very easy to understand. This college host events and fests every year.

Our college is average for students.
Placements: Locked down happened when I was in previous year. So placements were not there. Placements were available for our previous batch. They had good placements according to the percentage of students. Students who want to get a good percentage should get internships in the bank sector.
Infrastructure: This college provides great library and huge classrooms with the security of cameras and the structure of this college was beautiful. It provides a ground where different types of sports take place, and NSS was also there, and yearly they celebrate the big annual day.
Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Every teacher has great experience of a minimum of ten years. This course curriculum is relevant. With this study, students can go a long way in the industry. The semester exams are not difficult but sometimes papers get hard. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I opted for this B.Com course, because of my interest in it. I wish it would be easier to study with a projector. It provides a beautiful garden on the backside of this college. With the help of nature, students can study easily. The campus is very crowded. Drama, dance, and other forms of competition are held in this college.

Faculty members are average. The main problem here is the crowd and the college rules.
Placements: Not a single company visits our campus to recruit students. There is hope for graduates of this college as they have to work for third-party companies. Only BCS students get placement by the companies. The college needs to improve its rules.
Infrastructure: Our college does not support sports, and students have to bring their own kit. Atleast they should provide a period for sports. The sports sir only do timepass. The only good thing you get here is the Scouts, and you can join them and go for training every weekend.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, but some of the teachers do timepass in most of the lectures. Some teachers don't come for the lectures too. Portions are incomplete, and because of that, most of the students have to attend extra lectures before exams, which puts more pressure on the students.
Other: Most of the students do not attend their lectures and stand outside the college gate. The good thing about this college is the courses fee is less compared to other colleges as it is Rs. 7,000 per year.
