Very good college. I will recommend this college to students.
Placements: Nearly 90 percent of students are placed every year, and the placement rate is good compared to other colleges of this league. The highest package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Many companies include TCS, Infosys, etc. 98 percent of students got internships, some in electronics and some in the IT sector.
Infrastructure: There is a huge library which has over thousands of books and a study point also. 24 hours Wi-Fi and good cleanliness in classrooms and library. There are 2 boys’ hostels and 3–4 girls’ hostels, where we have 24 hours Wi-Fi. There are 2 canteens which are affordable too.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, and almost all have done Ph.D. and are highly knowledgeable. Teaching quality is top-notch. Exams are moderate; if we study, they will be easy, otherwise hard. The course syllabus is industry-ready. And rest all is good.
Other: I had chosen the course Electronics and Computer Engineering as I can go into the electronics field or IT sector. Many hackathons, events, and extracurricular activities happen throughout the year.

Strict in studies, but teaching quality is great.
Placements: 30-40 percent of students got placed, with the highest package being 15 LPA and the lowest 2.1 LPA. The average package is around 4 LPA in companies like Kinora Network. Around 40-50 percent of students got internships from my course in companies like Novius Technologies. Top roles offered are AI engineer, data analyst, software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department are great. There are multiple labs with connected Wi-Fi, around 18 classrooms, and a library inside the department. We also have a Mac lab in our department, which is the only one in the whole college. The hostel is pretty good, the quality of the canteen is average, medical facilities are good, and sports and games are average.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very qualified. The quality of teaching is not compromised in any way. Teachers are knowledgeable and experienced. The course curriculum seems relevant and does make students industry-ready. Semester exams pass percentage is around 30-40 percent.
Other: I chose this course because AI is going to be the future. The best thing about my course is that the highest package of our college is from our department. Scholarship is also available for eligible students. There are not many extracurricular activities.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science - Batch of 2026
4.2
Good choice for engineering with supportive faculty, decent placements, and strong infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students in the artificial intelligence and data science branch get placed every year, with many opting for higher studies as well. The highest package offered in recent batches is around 10 LPA to 12 LPA, the lowest being around 3 LPA, and the average package falls between 4 LPA to 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, and some product-based startups in AI/ML and data science domains. About 60% of students also receive internship opportunities in companies like Persistent Systems, Bosch, and startups working in AI/ML, web development, and data analytics.
Infrastructure: College provides good infrastructure with facilities like high-speed Wi-Fi, well-equipped computer labs with updated software, smart classrooms, a large library, and project/research facilities specific to AI and data science. Labs have modern configurations that support coding, deep learning, and big data-related projects. Hostel facilities are decent, with clean rooms and study space. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is average but hygienic, with both veg and non-veg options available. Medical facilities, sports ground, and indoor game facilities are also present. The overall infrastructure is supportive of both academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members in the AI and data science branch are qualified, helpful, and approachable. Most of them hold postgraduate/PhD qualifications and have expertise in emerging fields like machine learning, deep learning, big data, and cloud. The curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated with subjects like artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cloud computing, and programming. It includes both theory and hands-on lab sessions, making students industry-ready. Teaching quality is interactive with a mixture of lectures, practical, and project-based learning. Exams are moderately difficult, if concepts are clear, passing is not an issue. The pass percentage is usually above 85%.
Other: The course fee is reasonable compared to other engineering colleges offering AI and data science. The return on investment is good considering the placement opportunities and exposure provided. Choose artificial intelligence and data science because it is a future-oriented branch with growing demand across industries. The best part of this course is the exposure to trending technologies like AI, ML, data analytics, and cloud computing, along with real-time projects. I wish the college could further improve by inviting more product-based companies and providing international internship opportunities. Connectivity to the campus is good, and the environment is safe.

College for an excellent future.
Placements: Most of the students get placements where around 7 to 10 LPA is the average package that students got. The college focuses on practical knowledge, the skill of the individual, and extracurricular activities, along with academics. They also provide an interesting platform for Tifan, BAJA national competition under SAE India, and advanced technology, such as done locopilot training, etc. A big campus of Chhatrapati Shahu College Maharaj Shikshan Sansthan (CSMSS) provides the best educational environment.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are provided in my college (e.g., Wi-Fi, practical labs, library, extracurricular labs of Tifan and BAJA). The college has a playground, a student training center, and a well-developed hostel with good food quality in the mess is available in the college.
Faculty: The well-knowledgeable lecturers/professors/teachers are available. The extracurricular activities of the college and department are held, from which presentations, project competitions, and regular programs such as Tifan, BAJA, and locopilot training programs are provided, which are related to the academic course. Other fun activities increase the candidates' confidence, teamwork, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, management skills, etc.

2025 CSMSS College - Placements and many more.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Mahindra, TCS, etc. Top roles are design engineer, software engineer, etc. 60% of students got internships almost. The highest package is 16 LPA. The average package is 3.25 LPA. This year from mechanical branch the highest package is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi connection with high speed. Labs are arranged properly and classrooms with projectors and digital boards for study. Library with AC and comfortable facilities for students with all the needed books for courses. Canteen food is healthy and hygiene is maintained. Medical facilities are nearby the college. Sports are nearby college with big ground for cricket, volleyball, kabaddi, table tennis, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified from well-known universities. They are so relatable with their native language. I am from the mechanical branch which is relevant to industry for jobs. Semester exams are not that hard if we attend the lectures regularly.
Other: I have working experience in the mechanical industry so, I join the mechanical branch at CSMSS. I have 2 years of working experience that will boost my career opportunity.

Review of Chhatrapati Shahu College of Engineering by first-year student.
Placements: As a first-year engineering student, I did not get the opportunity to experience how the placements happen and how students get placed. We hear about placement drives regularly, so I can say that the college is working well in terms of providing placements. Last year one student got placed with a salary package of 15 LPA. The other student got placed with a salary package of 10 LPA and both of them were from my branch which is artificial intelligence and data science.
Infrastructure: We have two engineering buildings first is known as building-A and the other one is known as building-B. Both of them are well-constructed and provide good facilities like lifts, a computer lab, an Apple lab, etc. The hostel facility is also good.
Faculty: The course curriculum is modern, more practical, and skill-centric. Most of the subjects have the most required skills nowadays like python, java, AI, data engineering, machine learning, etc. We have one mid-semester exam, one end-semester exam, and two class tests in between. All teachers are highly qualified and know their job pretty well. They are very supportive. They always try to help us in every possible way.
Other: The environment is also engaging and extracurricular activities also happen frequently.

With good infrastructure, activities and opportunities for students.
Placements: In my course, almost more than 60% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 8 lakhs in mechanical, and the lowest was 2.45 lakhs, and about 3.25 lakhs is an average package. Mahindra offered the highest package to one of our students. Almost 45 to 50% of students got internships from college placement, and the remaining on their own also are some of them. And the top roles offered in our course in the last batch were design engineer, marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has two buildings with multiple floors, and mechanical engineering is on the B building's 1st floor. We have excellent labs for workshops with all equipment. While there are also some extra curriculars this year like Exploration, which is for 1st-year students who aim to teach them logical thinking. 2. The hostel is mainly for girls. 100% of girls will get the hostel facility from the college, which is much more affordable than others in the surrounding area. Almost 4 and 6-seater rooms are available, and the mess facilities are the best.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and some of them are from IIT as well. Teaching is mostly very easy to understand due to staff's easy conversation. The course is too much relevant. As I am working at BAJA, all the concepts we learn are applicable in industries. We have done labs and Baja and Tifan Labs in our department for extra curriculum for 2nd-year students (first-year students are not applicable for these labs due to a lack of concepts required in those labs).
Other: I am a mechanical student, and it is not easy for me as a girl to choose it, but my aim is to be a design engineer, and Chh. Sambhajinagar has so many industries that are for mechanical, like Valuj, etc. I am working in Baja for making an ATV which runs on hydrogen and electricity. For 2025-26, we are planning to make an ATV of autonomous, i.e., a self-driving car. This will allow more branches like CSE, AIDS, ACT, VLSI, electrical, and electronics branches to join this extra curriculum for more placement. From these extra curriculars, placement has boasted in college this year.

It's really a good college with good teachers and facilities.
Placements: Almost 60% of students get placement every year. The highest salary package offered in the college is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA in the mechanical field. Bajaj Auto, AR Industries, Dhoot Pvt, Kirdak Industries, etc. Our college is good in every section of my mind set. Good companies come to our college.
Infrastructure: Our college is very good in facilities. It provides a canteen with good food. The bus is available from small villages. Wi-Fi, labs, air conditioners, and more facilities are also available. Hostels, classrooms, and canteen infrastructure are excellent. There is a hospital near the college.
Faculty: Teachers have good skills to communicate with students. Some are not very good. Also, exams are hard in the college. The passing percentage is 28% in every subject. Most of the students fail in exams because of the hard pattern of the syllabus. Backlogs are common in engineering.
