Good medical college except GH is far away from college.
Placements: CMC placements are strong. 85-90% of students got placed. Salaries range for junior doctors 6 LPA - 8 LPA, specialists 18 LPA - 25 LPA, nurses/paramedics 3 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters are Apollo, Fortis, and Government hospital. 100% of students got MBBS internships at CMC Hospital. Other courses 90-95% internships at top local hospital. Roles offered are doctor, nurse, and lab tech.
Infrastructure: Our college buildings are old but have good maintenance. There is no Wi-Fi and library is available. Food quality is good. Playground and shuttle court are available. There is no current cut, and water supply is good. Rooms are very neat and everyone has separate rooms. Food is awesome. Old buildings are the only problem.
Faculty: All the professors are very good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent. New CBME based curriculum is very helpful and easy. Usually, the exams are difficult and getting pass itself is very hard.
Other: Everything is good. Cultural and sports meets are held often.

Our Coimbatore Medical College.
Placements: As this is a medical college, there are no placements in our college. After completing their final year, students will do an internship for 1 year. If we want to pursue a PG course, we have to write a NEET PG entrance exam. During the internship period, we are provided with a stipend.
Infrastructure: There are separate classrooms for each batch and subject respectively with projectors. There are even labs and museums present. There is a common library present in our college where students can make use of it whenever needed. Separate hostels are present for boys and girls. There are grounds for playing.
Faculty: Professors are very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly, and approachable. We can easily reach out whenever we have any doubts. We have clinical classes in the morning session where we can see patients and take cases. In the afternoon session, we will have theory classes in our college.
Other: The only drawback of our college is that the distance between the college and the hospital is long.

The perfect college for UG medicos .
Placements: There is no placement available in the MBBS field. You have to write the NEET PG exam or MRV exam to get PG admission or a government job in GH. However, an internship is available in our college, which pays a minimum amount of 28,000 per month for 1 year. This is compulsory, and all students must attend it. A variety of PG options are available in our college, like Anesthesia, General Medicine, General Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, and super specialty courses are also available.
Infrastructure: Every student is eligible to get a room in the hostel. Initially, the hostel allocates a room for 3 students, and it is very important for the interaction of the students. The hostel is in a peaceful environment, and there are bathroom facilities available. A mess is separately provided for hostel students, and gym and sports ground access are also available for the students. There is a huge library with nearly 10,000 books available. The food in the hostel is good, and there are a lot of sports games available in our college, like cricket, football, and athletics.
Faculty: The faculty at Coimbatore Medical College is wonderful. They are very experienced, and their interest in teaching is unmatchable. We can easily approach them and ask for any doubts. Every year, there is a semester exam for 100 marks, and we have to score above 50 marks to pass this exam. It is an aggregate of both theory and practical exams. The curriculum is very enriching, and there are vertical and horizontal integration programs, which are very effective for learning and implementing in the clinical field.
Other: I chose this course because I have loved the medical profession since my childhood. The best thing about MBBS is that we learn about our body, and it never ceases to amaze us. The perfect college to study MBBS is CMC, so you can always select CMC.

Review of Coimbatore Medical College.
Placements: There are 200 students currently studying in each batch. As this is a medical college, there are no placements. After completing the final year, we have 1 year of internship. If we want to pursue a PG course, we have to write a NEET PG entrance exam. During the internship period, there will be a stipend given.

The prestigious institute - CMC.
Placements: 150 students are placed from my batch. Internships are available to everyone passing the final year. The duration of internship is one year. Internships should be done in respected medical colleges. Internship gives experience in more clinical practice and knowledge.
Infrastructure: A new academic block has been constructed and laboratory is well-equipped with recent equipment. Hostel is also good and the menu is all good giving a feel of home food. There is a big playground available. All games things like basketball net, and cricket net are available. Indoor games are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-versed in subject and have more clinical knowledge and experience. All are available to everyone at any time. Faculty members are friendly. Course curriculum is good and enough for students. Semester and practical exams are well-handled.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for medical field. Every year intracultural and sports events are conducted and students have more fun. Scholarships are available to all community students.

Secret to know about Coimbatore Medical College.
Placements: Around 150 students were placed in this course. In medical field, there were no placements and we had to crack the entrance exam for placements. For further studies we get paid Rs. 25,000 during fifth year, and to enter into the internship phase, we should pass remaining four years.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure in Coimbatore Medical College was well-built. The academic block in our college has a vast space and it can occupy up to 400 students. Hostel in our college was ecofriendly. Good quality food was available in our hostel and weekly thrice non-vegetarian food was served. Every day evening sports activity is must be for each student.
Faculty: Faculty members in Coimbatore Medical College had good knowledge in both academic and clinical sides. The teaching quality of our faculty members was very interesting. Every year they conduct university theory exams and practical exams. We have pass that exams to enter next year.
Other: I chose this course to serve the people when they were sick. Events were conducted in our college every year and surroundings of our college was very good.

Coimbatore Medical College (the government-run institution in Coimbatore) does not offer a B.Sc in Cardiology nor a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) degree. Its paramedical programs include B.Sc. Cardiac Technology (not cardiology) and other related fields—not B.Sc Cardiology or BPT .

Yes, Coimbatore Medical College offers an MD programme in Anaesthesiology, and there are also institutions in Coimbatore that offer B.Sc. programs in Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology.
