Overall, best college according to me. I will recommend; there is 100 percent internship also
Placements: According to my knowledge, 70-80 percent are placed. The highest is 12 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. Top companies are Punjab National Bank, Amul, Federal Bank, and roles were manager type. Many SEED companies, tea companies, mushroom production factories, and other dairy companies also recruited.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch, to be honest, except the hostel. Classes are top-notch. The campus is really good. I am not lying. The campus is very big and well developed. Classes have AC. We have a gym, canteen, sport, volleyball ground, cricket ground, basketball court. Wi-Fi is also working very nicely. Mess food is average, but the bathroom is bad.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated; 90 percent are Ph.D. holders. Notes are also good. The curriculum is given by ICAR, so there is more practical knowledge. Semester exams are a bit different for us. Pass percentage is around 90 percent. We have various practical classes which show us how to do work practically.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Agriculture and Agronomy because Assam is known for its tea and agricultural background. So I chose this college instead of others. It is ranked 13th in agriculture. Events like Freshers and Diwali Night also occur on our campus. Scholarships are available, 2000k/month if we get 8 CGPA at the end of the semester exams.

Review of College of Agriculture.
Placements: Placements in our university are good. Every year few companies visit for campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. Mostly the companies that visit are fertilizer companies, SEED companies, banks, and education institutes. Under our course in the 4th year, each and every student had to do an internship RAWEP in the 7th semester and ELP in the 8th semester.
Infrastructure: Hostels are there on the campus, but their conditions are not good. Hostel mess food is not good but eatable. Hostels have Wi-Fi, which is totally free of cost, and also have generators. The canteen is affordable, and the food is also good. The university has its own gym, football field, medical unit, field, indoor stadium and swimming pool.
Faculty: Teachers are very supportive and well-qualified. They are very experienced and know how to teach. B.Sc. Agriculture has a very high demand. It opens many career opportunities both in the private and public sectors. There are a total of two exams in one semester, one mid-term of 30 marks, an end-term of 70 marks, and a separate practical exam. Exams are not difficult, but the passing marks are 50.
Other: Agriculture is the backbone of any economy, and a country depends on its agricultural growth. This made me choose this course. The class timing is very hectic. Classes start from 8 AM to 5 PM. A lot of events happen in the university, including Unifest named Aventine, Intercollege meet, a college week, etc. A merit scholarship of Rs. 9,000 per semester is given to top rankers on a merit basis.

The campus is good and beautiful.
Placements: In our college, approximately 165 students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amul, Tata Tea, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. The campus has lush greenery. Wi-Fi is available. Laboratory and auditorium are available. Canteen and mess facilities are available. Our college has a playground and a park. A hostel is available with average facilities.
Faculty: Our teachers are qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable but are boring and sometimes strict. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The course is challenging. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because it is good. Agriculture is the fastest-growing sector in our country.

The campus is good and beautiful.
Placements: In our college, almost 165 students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Amul, Tata Tea, etc., visit our campus. Almost 50% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available. Labs, classrooms, smart classrooms, and libraries are available. There is a canteen and an auditorium. Our college provides good infrastructure. A gym is available. There is a huge playground, a children's park, adopted villages, etc. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are available. Sports and games are average.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are humble, kind, helpful, and strict. The course curriculum is relevant. The course makes students industry-ready, and they try to develop many skills. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I chose this course because agriculture is the fastest-growing sector in our country. Placements should be better because they are not regular every year. Events and fests are excellent. Scholarships are available. Games, sports, and extracurricular activities are held.

Assam Agricultural University at a glance.
Placements: Placements are below par post-graduation. But obviously, agriculture demands higher studies, and one can get ample career opportunities after PG or PhD. Though one can easily go for government competitive exams after graduation. Also, a decent no. of job openings are available in the private sector as well, but this is mostly a government job-oriented degree/field.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty decent. The rooms are triple-sharing and double-sharing. Ample laboratories are present for research purposes. Though the quality of water is a bit bad, it's still manageable. Wi-Fi is present in every hostel. Sports infrastructure is also pretty good. Canteen hygiene is maintained well.
Faculty: Faculty is helpful. Most of the professors are well-versed in their subjects. The standard of exams is medium to difficult. The course is relevant and is continuously revised to keep up with the changes in the agricultural field. The pass percentage is almost 95%. It's not that tough to pass the exams.
Other: Ample opportunities for extracurricular activities. Fests are annual. An annual college week is also held every year, which is an inter-hostel cultural and sports tournament. One thing I would like to suggest to the course is more industry exposure and also better placement opportunities.
