Decent campus environment with good learning opportunities and scope for improvement.
Placements: Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Krishi Vishwavidyalaya College is one of the most well-known colleges. The average package offered ranges from 5 LPA-8 LPA. Our college has a good reputation which helps us in interviews. More than 20 to 30 companies come for recruitment. Internship programs are there to build students' knowledge about work.
Infrastructure: The agriculture department in the BM College has a well-maintained classroom with teaching aids. Laboratories are available for soil testing, plant pathology, and practical subjects. The college library has enough agriculture-related books and journals for study. Wi-Fi facilities are available on the campus for academic use. The hostel facilities are average but comfortable for students. Rooms are clean and have basic amenities. The mess and canteen food are simple and hygienic. They serve regular meals. Medical facilities are available on campus for basic health needs. The college also provides sports and games facilities to encourage students to participate in physical activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is the best. The teaching quality in top or well-managed colleges can be very good. The course curriculum is excellent for building a technical base. To be ready for the industry and market there should be use of a modern lab, equipment, and strong placement. In our college the difficulty level of semester exams ranges from easy to moderately difficult and high. They are mostly manageable with regular study and practice. Most students pass semester exams successfully and the overall pass percentage is generally between 85-90 percent.
Other: I chose the agriculture course because it is directly connected to the farmers and food production. I wanted to build a career in farming. It should provide more advanced equipment, updated labs, and industry exposure which would improve learning. Additional workshops, training programs, and new agricultural technologies would also be helpful. So that improvement changes the learning face. The college has good campus surroundings and it is well-connected by road. Students can participate in fests, events, and extracurricular activities. Scholarships are available for eligible students. The campus crowd is friendly.
