Placements: 85% of students were placed in our course, The highest package offered was 15Lpa LPA, the lowest package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the average package was around 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were cisco, infosys, Ford, etc. The percentage of students who got internships from MBA in our year was around 75% and the roles offered were mostly management consulting and product management.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available are okay, the classrooms are well maintained, and there is a well-stocked library. The quality of the facilities provided in the hostel is good. The food available in the mess and canteen is okay. There are facilities provided for sports and playing games.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful, highly qualified, and have a lot of knowledge regarding their subjects. The teaching quality is also very good and quite easy to understand. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not so difficult; we can easily score by studying before the exams and listening to the classes.
Other: The events, festivals, and campus life are very good, and you enjoy a lot with your friends and make new friends too.

The college has good placements and great return of investment .
Placements: Campus placements for MBA were equally good as other programmes under our university. The highest salary offered was 15 LPA. There were some famous visitors like Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, Accenture, and Tata Group for placements. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA (4.85 LPA to be more accurate).
Infrastructure: Our library has books and periodicals across technical, science as well as management. The famous societies such as robotics club, literary club, Capitalise and Saptham, work dedicated for the all-round growth of the students. The hostel facilities at DOMS, Anna University are also very affordable like the programme fee of the university. The kind of facilities also makes it great because the university fulfills all basic necessities of the students. The rooms are well built and the mess arrangement is also one of its types. The best thing about the food was its quality as the staff uses the best products for the preparation of food.
Faculty: This two-year course entails pragmatic enquiry and in-depth analysis of the dynamic business environment. Students can choose to specialize in marketing, operations, finance, human resource management, systems, and business analytics. The syllabus is relevant and in line with the current business situation. Apart from the regular curriculum, there is an emphasis on practical training and counseling to help students gain expertise in the field of management.

Faculty was good, knowledgeable and helpful. Placements were good.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in my course. The highest package offered was 6 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package offered was 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, UTC, HDFC and ICICI. Top roles offered are management trainee and sales trainee. The highest package offered in our course was 6 LPA, the lowest package offered in our course was 2.5 LPA, and the average package offered in our course was 3.6 LPA. Almost 90% of students got an internship in companies like HDFC, Ashok Leyland, India ratings, wheels India.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available. All the facilities are up to the mark. Hostel food is good, but some food like chapati and upma can be improved. Medical facilities are available all the time. Canteen foods are provided at lower prices and of good quality.
Faculty: The teachers in my college were very knowledgeable. They have a good subject understanding. Apart from their subjects, they know other subjects also. They were helpful all the time. The teaching quality is of top class. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students for the industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I want to learn management skills. The best thing about the course is the way teachers guides us. In the last semester, we have the only project. Instead, they can add one or two more subjects with the project so that additional learning can happen.

    The review of Anna University.
Placements: Placements are good for the students of the marketing domain but not for the students of other specialisations. The placement cell is concentrating more on engineering students than MBA students. We had a pre-placement programme which was very helpful and enlightening. I hope they provide placements for all specialisations from next year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is okay. They are actually renovating our block. So I hope they do a better job this time. We have two great libraries; one is the common library, and the other one is the university library. The Wi-Fi's speed is quite slow, but the connectivity is good. Overall, I would rate the infrastructure with 4/5.
Faculty: All the faculty members of our college have completed their PhDs, and most of them are from IIMs and Anna University. Our HOD is a really great professor. The teaching methods include conventional lecture methods with very few activities. The curriculum is really helpful and relevant, but it's not as relevant as IIMs and XLRI. However, it's really good.

It is a good university with all major facilities, but there are few drawbacks too.
Placements: The strength of our class is 60 students, out of which almost 25 students got placed and a few got internships offers (full-time offers might be provided after the internship based on their performance). Around 12 companies visited our campus through the placement cell (CUIC). Some of the major companies were TCS, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities Kotak Mahindra Bank, Zoho, Lennox, Adani, ITC, Prochant etc. The highest salary package offered was approximately 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 4.2 LPA. The average salary package offered was around 4.8-5 LPA. Many other companies offered internships for marketing, finance and operations students. They offered an average stipend of around Rs. 10,000 per month. As far as the senior batch is concerned, many opted for further education and around 15 students got placed through placement cell, and the rest (except a few) got placed through off-campus interviews. The placement cell can do better to invite more companies for management graduates because the industry has little to no knowledge about the existence of an MBA programme in Anna University (CEG).
Infrastructure: The department of management studies has well-equipped labs with high-speed internet connectivity. There are dedicated medical facilities 24x7. There is a state-of-the-art library with both online and offline accessibilities. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and they are spacious, well-lit and have free-circulation of air. Wi-Fi is provided only for laptops and can be accessed after registration of the laptop in RCC (Ramanujam Computing Centre). There is a huge playground which accommodates cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and other majors track and field events. It also encompasses an indoor sporting facility that features table-tennis, carrom and chess. The level of playing standards is quite high as the students come in through sports quota as well. Hostels are available for both boys and girls and a better equipped international hostel. All the building complexes are differently-abled students-friendly.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are doctorates ranging from a single doctorate to multiple doctorates. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are friendly and helpful If you obey and don't mess with them, they will be nice to you. Teaching methods used are mostly powerpoint presentations, and case study is given as an activity for students on a regular basis. Students are also asked to give powerpoint presentations simultaneously. The student to faculty ratio is 10:1 (approximately). Industrial exposure was provided to us during the summer internship after the 2nd-semester exams, and it turned out to be a mind-blowing experience for many of us. We got to know the industry in real-time and working with the industry on live projects certainly gave us a thing or two about the industry. However, the course curriculum is almost outdated and definitely lacks practical knowledge it is supposed to impart. I would, and most certainly, the faculty would suggest doing outside courses related to your domain or interest to enhance your placement opportunities.
Other: Many events and fests are conducted by the engineering departments throughout the year, but the MBA programme has no such fests or events due to lack of funds provided by the university.

The review of Anna University, MBA department.
Placements: The placements are happening on the campus. Since I was a working professional, I don't require any placement, but a couple of my friends got good placements in well-reputed companies. Although the remuneration part was a little lower side for the fresher's, but it is okay.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good on the campus. The practical labs are well-maintained. The professors are well-experienced. The campus had good infrastructure. The college has a good departmental library, and the university has the central library, which has more than lakhs of books for reference, which can enhance the knowledge.
Faculty: The professors are good and knowledgeable in their domain. They could able to explain everything. The curriculum covers all the important subjects. CBCS based marking system is allowing the students to get more specialised subjects, which can give more insights.
