Here is a general outline of the admission process for COEP:Eligibility: Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. The basic eligibility criteria include passing the HSC (Class 12) examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.Entrance Exam: COEP considers the MHT-CET scores and JEE Main scores for admission to its undergraduate engineering programs. As you have mentioned your JEE Main percentile, it is one of the qualifying exams you can use to apply for COEP.Application Process: To apply for admission to COEP, you need to participate in the centralized admission process conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (MHT-CET Cell). The application process typically involves online registration, document verification, and choice filling.Merit List and Counseling: After the application process, the MHT-CET Cell will release the merit list based on the MHT-CET or JEE Main scores, HSC marks, and other criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling process, where they can select their preferred branch of engineering based on their merit rank.Seat Allotment: Seat allotment will be done based on the candidate's merit rank and availability of seats in their preferred branch. Candidates who are offered a seat need to confirm their acceptance by paying the requisite fees.
