LIT in Nagpur is of course famous for its courses in areas related to chemical engineering while c o e p offers all types of courses. To compare chemical engineering with metallurgical engineering is actually not correct. These are two different types of courses with perhaps different employers at the time of placements. My opinion is that both these branches have tremendous potential in the times to come. In view of this I would recommend that you can select any one of the courses in which you can get admission. Hello Sharad, I must say that your percentile in JEE mains is reasonably good. But I am afraid the admissions in college of engineering Pune are normally based on the ranking of mht CET and not JEE Mains. Of course there are some seats reserved for what is called as all India quota which are filled up based on the parameters of the students in JEE Mains but the seats are very less in number. I can only say that do not lose hope till the time admission process is not over since this process is known to throw many surprises.
