Satisfied. Good academics and a nice environment to study. No ragging, student-friendly college.
Placements: Our placement cell is quite active, with around 75 percent of students placed. The average package offered is 3 LPA-4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Qburst, and Cognizant. Most placements happen from the CS branch. Training starts from the 1st year, covering communication and coding skills.
Infrastructure: Hostel availability is comparatively low because many students are from Kannur itself. PG and private hostels are available near the college. Quality of food in the canteen is good, and food is also available at a very low price for students. Wi-Fi is available. Lab facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified. They help us a lot with academic as well as extracurricular activities. Placement training programmes are there for students to develop their skills. Semester exams are moderate. Papers are easy to hard. Pass percentage is high compared to other colleges.
Other: There are a lot of events in college. Students will have a good campus life to remember. Also, the college is very active in sports and other extra curricular activities. Tech fest, known as Agnitus, is one of the best college programs.

I would say it is the best college at this level.
Placements: More than 70% of students are placed. In my department, almost 60% of students get placements with packages around 12 LPA. TCS is the best IT company according to my information. Mostly, 50% of students get internships. Even when I was in my first year, I got an internship from the Agriculture Department.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. I think it is better compared to this level of college. The infrastructure is quite old, and the campus area is only 23 acres. It is very difficult to get a college hostel as the number of seats is low. Students prefer PGs near the campus or outside. The canteen is average.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. They have good character personally, and their teaching ability is also good. In my department, faculty is actually good, but I have heard people say that they usually study through YouTube and similar resources. I think if you have a good plan and the mindset to work, semester exams are very easy.
Other: College activities are also active.

A pretty good college if you have a KEAM rank around 30,000.
Placements: The college has decent placements compared to other colleges of the same level. Many students get internships throughout the course. The placement cell in the college is decent. Overall, it is kind of average, but I think it is at a decent level compared to colleges of the same category. It also has a good alumni network.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is pretty average, almost the same as any other government college in Kerala. It has a small 23-acre campus, but it is green and beautiful. The college has a very good library. Wi-Fi is available on every floor of our department. Labs are decent, and classrooms are average. The canteen food is strictly average but not bad.
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are really nice and supportive. They are qualified and have good knowledge. The teaching quality varies from average to good. The course curriculum is the same as any other college under KTU University in Kerala. It needs some upgrading.

Teachers are good but the college is average.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in my course is like 60 to 70 percent. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and the lowest is like 2 LPA-3 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, etc. The students getting an internship is like 50 to 60 percent in companies which are small not very big. The top roles offered are like very small starting roles only.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good. We have good classes with all the necessary things. The classrooms are decent. Talking about the Wi-Fi it is average. It gets a very good connection on the ground floor but on the third or fourth floor we don't get any good connection. The libraries are good they have all the recommended books by our syllabus but they do not contain any story-like content only education and the labs are also decent. The hostel food is mid.
Faculty: Teachers are very hardworking and dedicated. Most of them are very educated and trained professionals. Talking about the course curriculum it is very outdated and it is not good enough for a student to be prepared for an industrial view. The semester exams are moderate, so a student can get a pass mark if they study 1 or 2 days before exams. Even after that our pass percentage is not that good it is only like 60 to 70 percent.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering because it provides a variety of opportunities for jobs. The thing I wish it could improve is that they teach more and prepare more for industry rather than just books. Talking about the events and fests there are tech, arts, ethics, etc. The campus crowd is huge and everybody is very excited for every event. There are many scholarships for eligible students also.

A college with good infrastructure and faculty members, along with great college life.
Placements: I'm currently a second-year student, and after hearing from the final year students and the alumni, Campus placement is average in our college. The highest ever package received from our college is 12 LPA. Recruiting companies like Infosys and Cognizant had offered placements in our college. Mostly in software development roles.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very good, with proper Wi-Fi and smartboards. Our college library is vast and has a great range of books. I'm a day scholar, so from the experience of my friends staying at a hostel, they would give it a 3 out of 5 rating. Wi-Fi is available there, and there is Mess food.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. Very much educated and experienced. I was in the first batch of the 2024 scheme KTU syllabus, so there were huge changes in the syllabus of our course, but still, the teachers had no issues teaching the new syllabus, and everything is going well. We have 2 internal series examinations before the main exam, and the questions are created by the faculty members themselves; the exams are conducted well.
Other: Computer Science is a vast field where there are multiple opportunities available, so for that reason, I chose Computer Science.

There is a good campus environment and faculty members. Overall, placements are below average here.
Placements: Only 10% of students from our course got placed in my course. The highest package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest package offered is 5 LPA. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. I don't know how many students got internships. I guess students find internships on their own. Recruiting companies change a lot, so I am not sure about it.
Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is not bad. Some computers in our lab are old and do not function properly. Wi-Fi is not strong but usable. Food in the canteen is also not that bad. Hostels are not bad, as I heard. I don't know much about it as I am a day scholar. Classrooms are good. Everything is working properly here.
Faculty: Many faculty members are good and friendly. They try their best to make our studies easy. The course curriculum is pretty outdated. Some subjects are up to date but not effective. They do not make us industry-ready. Semester exams are neither difficult nor easy.
Other: I chose the CSE course so that I can work in the tech field. It would have been better if our courses were industry-relevant and up to date. A lot of events, fests, and other extracurricular activities are held on our campus. There are no issues there.
