The college has good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: In the Computer Science and Engineering course, almost 80% of students got campus placements. The highest package was 11 LPA last year. The lowest is Rs. 18,000 per month. The average salary package is almost Rs. 21,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, and Wipro. Top roles offered are data analysts/business analysts or cloud & devops engineers.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is overall good. There's free Wi-Fi available in the department block. Lab facilities are also good. There are multiple computer labs, like the CG/ML lab, the NOS lab, the Department lab, the project lab, etc. Each has enough systems. Classrooms are also advanced. Every classroom has a projector, and some have smart boards. The hostel is also good. Rooms are spacious and have good infrastructure.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They're also helpful. Lectures are understandable and similar to school lectures. The curriculum is not that good. The syllabus of KTU is not good for the 2019 scheme. There is a lot of unnecessary content for us to learn, which will not help us in the tech industry. Now it has developed since 2024.
Other: Computer Science and Engineering is one of the best courses apt for this generation of emerging technologies like AI. The campus life is good. There are lots of events like tech fests, art fests, celebrations, and all. The college encourages sports like cricket, kabaddi, etc.

Politely, I am satisfied with my college overall.
Placements: Almost 70-80% of students got placed in this college. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 3.6 LPA, with the average spotted around 4.5 LPA. Cognizant, QSpiders, TCS, and Wipro are some of the companies that recruited students. 50% of the students got internships along with stipends from various companies, including the ones I mentioned above.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available for each department. Labs are often less, but they are available at any cost. Classrooms are conveniently satisfactory, although the desks and benches are small and slightly difficult to sit on. Hostels are very comfortable, and the food is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and friendly, and they are highly qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. Here in this college, students achieve more industrial knowledge. Semester exams are moderately difficult, and the CS pass percentage is above 95%.
Other: Due to passion, I chose this course. They should utilize student knowledge by introducing more practicals. I am satisfied with events, fests, etc.

COET offers good infrastructure, supportive faculty, decent placements, and an active campus.
Placements: The College of Engineering Thalassery (COET) recorded a placement rate of around 60% in the 2023–2024 academic year. The average package offered was in the range of 3 LPA to 4 LPA, while the highest package touched around 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Major recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, and IBM, offering roles like software developer, system engineer, data analyst, and testing roles.
Infrastructure: COET provides well-equipped labs, computer centers, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a resourceful library that support both academics and research. The hostel facilities are adequate, with spacious rooms, a decent mess, hygienic food, and proper security. The canteen provides snacks and meals, and basic medical facilities are available on campus. Sports and recreational facilities include grounds for football, cricket, volleyball, and badminton.
Faculty: The faculty at COET is generally qualified, supportive, and approachable, with many teachers holding postgraduate and doctoral degrees. The teaching quality is good, and most professors explain concepts clearly while also encouraging practical learning through labs and projects.

Vibrant campus with great vibes, solid facilities, and decent placements.
Placements: The placements are fine. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and similar ones usually. That doesn't mean they select people. For such tier 1 companies, they usually select 2-3 people a year max. In the case of placements for the specific field of computer science, it's usually rare. As I'm a computer science student, I can only say this about my field.
Infrastructure: The college offers a commendable hostel facility that caters well to students' needs, providing a comfortable and supportive living environment. The hostels are equipped with essential amenities, ensuring a conducive space for both study and relaxation. Rooms are well-maintained, with adequate furnishings and access to necessities like Wi-Fi, clean water, and electricity, making daily life convenient for residents. Common areas, such as study rooms and recreational spaces, foster a sense of community, allowing students to connect and unwind.
Faculty: The faculty at our institution is truly commendable, offering a supportive and nurturing environment for students. Their approachability and fairness make them exceptional educators who genuinely care about their students' success. They are always ready to assist with academic or personal challenges, providing guidance that is both practical and empathetic. Whether it's clarifying complex concepts, helping with assignments, or offering advice on future career paths, the faculty consistently demonstrates a commitment to fostering student growth.
Other: The community of students is really vibrant and cheerful. Will meet a lot of friends here. Ragging and bullying are nonexistent. Arts, culture, and sports events occur regularly.
