Life at K. J. Somaiya College of Nursing.
Placements: There's a 100% placement opportunity for Nursing students. They even provide opportunities to work abroad while handling your expenses. They also provide hostel facilities and scholarships to a few students scoring good. Many good hospitals opt for Somaiya to work with. Since the college is quite popular among medical colleges, placement here is not an issue definitely.
Infrastructure: They do have a low-quality smart board and poorly organized furniture, but it works and is manageable. Wi-Fi facilities aren't available for students. For most things, we rather use our phones' internet. Hostel facility is negligible for girls in the first year. There's no hostel provided in the first year except for a few students overall. They give the rooms to residents and senior students. Labs are decent but organized. There is a canteen available but not affordable for everyone. The food quality of the hostel mess is also not satisfactory. The menu is often the same boring repeated stuff.
Faculty: The teachers here are not that helpful and experienced. They don't have soft skills. They'd treat you like a school kid. They don't even speak fluent English and lack the standard of the fee charge. They don't have patience and politeness. Most of the learning would be independent.
Other: There is no such big-level event currently being organized in the college and the college does not focus on extracurricular activities. They won't even spend a penny on you for an event or party. I would suggest stopping expecting good from the college and rather try not to seek admission here.
