They supervises and directs junior staff nurses and nursing students to ensure patients get the best care possible. These nurses will also be in charge of managing nursing care to such patients.
Senior registered nurses are also called upon to liaise with doctors, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists on behalf of the patients.
