PG Diploma	Candidates completed Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.), B.A. (Psychology), B.A. (Education), Bachelor of Social Work (B.S.W.), B.Sc. (Human Development) and B.Sc. (Psychology) from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.
Certificate	Candidates currently studying in the 2nd year of any of the under graduate programme of the University i.e. in the faculty of Arts, Science or Commerce are eligible to apply.
BSW	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, or an equivalent examination of any other Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary examination, recognised by the University of Mumbai or must have passed the First Year Arts/Science/Commerce of the four year B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. degree course of this University or an examination of any other University or body recognised as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply.
UG Diploma	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or from any other Board, recognised by the University of Mumbai are eligible to apply. Or Candidate having higher degree than XIIth std. from University of Mumbai or from any other University, recognised by the University of Mumbai are eligible to apply. Or Candidate completed XIIth standard or higher education from distance Education University also are eligible for the course. Or Candidate completed old SSC i.e. 11+4 or intermediate also will be eligible for this course.
MSW	Candidates completed graduation/bachelor's degree from any recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.
