It is only helpful if you are interested in treating animals.
Placements: We haven't had any outgoing batches from our college yet, as it is a newly established institution. The first batch, the 2020 batch, is still pursuing graduation here. However, as far as we know, after graduation, veterinarians can pursue government jobs, such as veterinary surgeons. Pet clinics are also managed by vets, and a wide range of private sectors welcomes talented veterinarians.
Infrastructure: Our hostel infrastructure is very impressive. As this is a recently constructed college, we have an advanced hostel with spacious rooms and wide corridors. We also have a good playground and shuttle courts in the hostel. The food in the hostel is comparatively good.
Faculty: Our curriculum and professors are appointed by the university itself, so we receive professional tutoring from qualified teachers. The level of question papers is set in a way that only talented students can pass. The exams are quite difficult.
Other: If you are a pet enthusiast or an animal lover, you will enjoy this course otherwise. It can be a bit harder to thrive in the medical field. At the university level, it is the best, but on our campus, it is still developing (there is a lack of infrastructure and facilities). There is also an ongoing issue with stipend increments (hopefully, we win on that).

Q:   What are the requirements to pursue a career in Veterinary courses after completing BTech in Computer Science and Engineering?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering is pretty different from pursuing a career in Veterinary Science. So, it will sort of be a career and educational shift. The following are the steps you may take:

  • Do the Needed Coursework: Enroll in and complete the minimum required undergraduate coursework in basic sciences, like biology and chemistry, which are essential in admission to most veterinary schools.
  • Get Veterinary Experience: Try to gain some veterinary work experience.
  • Study for Entrance Exams: Most veterinary schools require candidates to take an entrance exam.
  • Get into Veterinary School: If accepted, complete the degree. The degree would include coursework, clinical rotations, and practical experience in veterinary medicine.
  • Get Licensed: After obtaining the DVM degree, you will have to get licensed by passing the Veterinary Licensing Examination in the country or state where you wish to practice.
