Deeply disappointed due to poor infrastructure & poor placement support.

Placements: The placement scenario is quite disappointing, with only a few students securing jobs. The number of companies visiting the campus is very limited. While some companies like Toyota, Sonalika, Infosys, Leyland, etc., offer some jobs, overall opportunities are scarce. There are no provisions for skill development & vocational training, and the college lacks dedicated internship faculty & structured support. Very little emphasis is placed on preparing students for the job market.

Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is quite poor. Classrooms & computers are outdated. There are no digital classrooms. The hostel faculty members are below standard and require significant improvement. The quality of faculty members is also unsatisfactory, with limited attention to extracurricular activities. However, the library is well-maintained and provides a good environment for study & research.

Faculty: Teachers are quite average, but additional courses and skill learning are adequate. Faculty are always ready to help students; they are highly qualified teachers with more than 10 years of experience in teaching. There is a mismatch in the courses offered & skill training. Semester exams are of a moderate level, with the maximum syllabus of the exam being covered from PYQs. Faculty are always ready to help students in their education.

Other: I pursued a B.Sc. in computer science for working in the IT sector, and basically learned programming languages and data analytics that helped me in my plans. Moreover, some improvements in the college course can be provided, such as skill training with certification. Extra courses like web development, data science, full-stack development, graphic design, machine learning & AI, etc. College can provide good internship experience & hire more companies on campus. Colleges need to work more on extracurricular activities like NCC, NSS & other competitions.

This college is satisfactory for basic courses.

Placements: There were no placements, but some private companies offered placements from time to time. Even Infosys came here, and one girl got placed. Overall, it was a good college for basic courses like B.Sc. and B.Com. It was not good for placements.

Infrastructure: The computer lab was well developed. It was fully furnished and air-conditioned. The auditorium was huge and well-maintained. Classrooms were a little old. They had not been renovated for a long time. Overall, they were good for studying. The ground was very good.

Faculty: Faculty members in the science and mathematics department were highly qualified and understanding. They tried to engage every student in the class. They conducted regular tests and assignments. Semester exams were very similar to final exams.

Other: It would be better if many companies visited the college for recruitment.

Absolutely satisfied with the college .

Placements: Got hired as a developer by TCS and got a package 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies was Tech Mahindra, TCS and many more .The top role offered was backend developer. The highest percentage was 83 and the lowest was 70.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel and no Wi-Fi . Labs are very good and there are two libraries and classrooms are average which are very old. Sports and game facilities are available for those for those who are interested .The college also have a canteen .

Faculty: Exam are conducted to be every 6 months and teachers are highly qualified from top universities. Teacher always help students and course doesn't make students industry ready. They have to do this on their own. This course is difficult because Maths and Physics are primary subjects .

Our college campus is good. All staffs are helpful for the students.

Placements: Mahindra, dell, hp, Microsoft companies are few recruiters. The highest package of BCA student is around 30000. All depends upon students behavior, knowledge, personality skill. All over India per year students admissions in BCA course around 500000 to 600000. Around 60 to 70 percent students got internship offers.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. BCA course related Lab are very good. Wi-Fi is available in lab. Library system are very good in our college. All course related books are available in library. Medical facilities sports facilities are available in our college.

Faculty: Our college teachers are very helpful for students and teachers are knowledgeable qualified. Teaching quality are also good. Students are always ready to industry. BCA student also acquired the knowledge.

A college with good infrastructure.

Placements: The students of DAV college were placed on merit basis. This is the best college in Hoshiarpur, and I am proud to be a part of this college. Although teachers did not get enough money compared to the government college, they are happy, and they focus on class results. I would like to thank the teachers for giving extra classes and coaching even on Sundays.

Infrastructure: The rooms are air-conditioned, and we use our own vehicle for going to the college. Labs and classes are very good. We spend almost one hour in the canteen daily, and that is our favourite place to meet friends. If someone is giving a party, that's the best time to celebrate.

Faculty: The faculty and staff are very helpful, and I really enjoyed my tenure during B.Com. The teachers here did not get fair salary as they were a part of the private sector. All the staff members are is very helpful and cooperative. Even after college hours, they take extra classes for no cost from the college.

I would say that it was overall an average experience, but if compared with others it was good.

Placements: The placements were less than my expectations. The highest package was about 4 LPA. The main recruiter was ICICI bank offering a role in a sales position. About 40-50 % of the students got placed.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were good and overall infrastructure was good too. There were hi-tech labs and also computer labs there too. For sports, our college was best in football and other indoor games like boxing. Both boys and girls participate in every game. There was a separate parking facility too.

Faculty: The faculty was the best part. The teachers were very adjustive and helpful. They were really good and very understanding too. The faculty members are fully qualified and helpful. However, the course does not make one industry-ready but it builds the base for the same. Exams during COVID were completely in online mode. It was conducted very gracefully by the staff.

Other: College could improve the hostel facility so that more students from different states should study there and help the college grow. Overall good experience.
