Good college, good placements this year.
Placements: Placements are not good. This year, only Macloids and Aurobindo Pharma visited our college. The highest package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the lowest package offered was 1.5 LPA. There are no internships provided by the college. Mostly, students are placed in different production units in the pharma industry.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus and with CCTV security. Classrooms are spacious and have all the apparatus used in industry. Labs are spacious and have all the apparatus used in industry. Library is good. There are two hostels, one boys' hostel outside the campus and a girls' hostel inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly educated and experienced. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready for the industry. There are two semesters in a year, and each semester has two sessions, which are conducted by the university BPUT. The question papers are moderate.

It is an averagely good college, and I would be proud to be a pharmacist.
Placements: There are average placements in the college for students of pharmacy. For other departments, it has been the worst thing the college can do with us in the campus selection, and many students will not like to go to placements.
Infrastructure: It has decent hostel rooms and a canteen. The college building would be a certain 3 floors having a construction condition. The hostel rooms have decent rooms and decent structure.
Faculty: It has very strict faculty members, and in the examination cell, which would be the best experience to conduct the exam. Some faculty members are very strict with maintenance. There is a proper decoupling, which would get some instructions from the technicals.

Our college is the best in overall Odisha state district in pharmacy college aspects.
Placements: In my personal opinion, in the last academic year 2024, overall 70% of students secure jobs and the remaining others engage in higher academic careers. Students get placed in various pharma industries like Alembic, Cipla, IPCA, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very nice. All subjects have their own labs where students can easily practice their lab-based projects, which is very essential for their studies. In our college, there are 4 different pharma laboratories such as pharmacology, pharmaceutics, cognosy, and analysis lab.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well-educated and they help students as per their level-based criteria requirements. They help students to reach their success and they provide proper study material for their higher education. Students qualify for GPAT and NIPER exams.

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma.) - Batch of 2023

In the pharmacy background, our college is one of the best options.
Placements: 70 to 80% scored students got placed in our college. The highest salary is about Rs. 1.5 lakh. The lowest is about Rs. 65,000. Top companies are Zydus, Cipla, and Sun Pharmaceutical. About 60% of students got internships from my course in Sun Pharmaceutical. Top roles are in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Infrastructure: There are many facilities like free Wi-Fi, a lift, air conditioning classrooms, a well-organised auditorium, a well-managed library, and well-defined practical labs. Our hostel facilities are to be very honest, not bad, 4 times of food are given by our college authority.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated and very helpful in nature towards us. They help us whenever we want. My college is always ready to prepare us to work in the industry. They are always with us. Our seminar is very knowledgeable and inspiring to all.

A good college for D. Pharma, not so good for B. Pharma.
Placements: Placements are not good. In B. Pharma last year, 30 students got selected out of 120 students in the placement campus. Cipla was the top recruiter. The highest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package offered was 1.5 lakhs per annum. Last year, 8 students were selected in the GPAT entrance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good. Classrooms are spacious. Not a big campus. Wi-Fi is only available in the classroom. Labs are good; they have chemicals and apparatus. A good library is present on the campus. The canteen is inside the campus. There is a boys' hostel and a girls' hostel on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and they are experienced. However, they take only 10 lectures in a week, which is not sufficient. The syllabus is very vast, making us ready for the industry. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the University BPUT. Each semester has two sessionals, which are conducted by the college.

Overall, the college is good for its education, study, and facilities.
Placements: About 50 percent of the students got placed last year, some of them from our college placement. The highest and lowest packages are about INR 3 LPA and INR 1.2 LPA, respectively. A company like Cipla hires students from our college. Job offers like production executive and market representative roles are offered.
Infrastructure: The classroom and library are average. Some free data will be available at our college. I did not leave the hostel due to some bad feedback from our seniors. Medical and sports are also important. Annual chess and athletic games organized by the college every year are very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful at our college. And some of them come from industry; they are very knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also good. This course provides knowledge of both hospitals and industry. Semesters are not so hard. Almost every student gets passed.
Other: Our batch is 2021–25, and our batch size is 115. I chose this course because it has a better job selection rate than B.Tech and B.Sc. Many fests, such as YPF and annual functions, are held in our college, and many students attend from other colleges.
