College is good if you get a well-equipped room facility near the college.
Placements: In this college you can get a better placement if you work hard and smartly. Also placement as compared to other BEU colleges seems better here (except few). You can't compare NITs and IITs with this in terms of anything. Overall it is good.
Infrastructure: The hostel is 4km away from the main campus so a lot of students get accommodated in nearby lodges, flat, and hostels but in the college hostel it is the same as all the hostels provided by BEU engineering colleges. The hostels look older. The flat near the college is more comfortable.
Faculty: Some teachers are knowledgeable but some are average. It helps in completing as well as knowing your syllabus well. Be aware that the semester examination they do not consider that you are studying in a state government engineering college. Overall it is good.
Other: I chose this course because it provides a path to both the technical and government sectors. Events are okay but not very exciting, extracurricular activities are present, but not well organised and managed properly.

Good placements in 2024 and 2025. Decent infrastructure and facilities. Satisfied with boys hostel.
Placements: Nearly 60 to 70 percent of students are placed in different companies. This year until June the highest package is 18 LPA. In 2024 the highest package was 43 LPA (the highest till now). There are some people who get placed in TCS, Infosys and other MNUs.
Infrastructure: The hostels are good for only girls. The girls' hostel is on the college campus and is good. While the boys' hostel is 3 Kms away from college so if you get the hostel you at least need a bike or else you would get disconnected from the city and college. 80 percent of students don't go into the hostel until 3rd year. Mostly students live in PGs near the college. The hostel fees are Rs. 4000 (including mess) per month which is paid for 6 months at once.
Faculty: Many faculty members are good at this college but some guest faculty members are bad. They cut your internal marks if you have a personal grudge with them. Even if you earned 20 out of 20 in mid-terms the guest faculty will only upload 2 marks in internal at the end.
Other: There are many courses in this college like Civil, Electrical, FTS, Mechanical, CSE and CSE (Cybersecurity). Also it is the main hub of C-DAC, Kolkata and Bihar.

A government college associated with BEU. This college is very affordable, I fully recommend it.
Placements: Nearly 30% of students get placement offers. The highest package is 12 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average package is 5 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services and some other companies visit the campus for recruitment. System Engineer (Grade C1 - Prime) is one of the roles offered to students from different courses. Most students focus on the GATE exam instead of placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides good Wi-Fi, clean washrooms, and classrooms. Lab facilities are best. Along with properly working computers and air-conditioned classrooms. Labs are easily accessible from 10 AM to 5 PM. The library has a large seating capacity, many books, and a peaceful environment. The hostel is one of the best features, with 24/7 sports facilities, good food, and basic medical facilities. One drawback is that the boys’ hostel is 3 km away from the college campus.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. Some teachers are Ph.D. graduates, while most have completed their master’s degrees. Faculty members are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly. The syllabus is fully relevant and focuses on building a better future for CS engineers. Semester exams are a little hard and theoretical. Nearly all students pass the course.
Other: I chose this government college because it is affordable. The best thing about my course is that it is very relevant to real life. There is nothing bad about the course. The college provides 100% scholarships to OBC and SC/ST students. Three events are organized every year.

College is best for students who have potential and are struggling financially.
Placements: Placements are awesome. Mass recruiters recruited many students last year. The highest package offered in my college is 43 LPA for a girl who is placed in HCL. About 10% of students got placements. Internships are not as much in my college, but they are quite well paid in terms of ROI.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good compared to what they take from us. It has a library, smartboard-enabled classroom, CCTV-enabled campus, good Wi-Fi range, a badminton court, basketball court, and cricket field. They all are well-maintained. Hostel fee is Rs. 9,000 per semester. Hostels are available for both boys and girls. But boys can only join in their second year for some reasons. Boys' hostel is 2 KMs away from the college. Girls' hostel is available on campus. Mess food is okay.
Faculty: Many faculty members are very humble in nature. They are helpful and well-qualified. They qualified for the BPSC and an interview round. They never take leave for students' classes. The pass percentage in the semester exam is 50%. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory to get a hall ticket for the end-semester exam.

My experience at my college.
Placements: 90 students are present in the civil. Some companies will have come in last few years, like Infosys or Cisco. Internship rate is also very low in our college. Only unpaid internships are done. Paid internship are very low in our college so this is very bad.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and a library are available in our college. Hostel facility is not so good because our hostel is too far from our college, so it is too far. No cafeteria is available in our college. Only one Sudha counter is available.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very best. All the faculty are very knowledgeable. The way he delivered such things is very appreciable. The semester exam is not as difficult as compared to other colleges like IIT or not. Pass percentage is also very good, something 70 to 90%.
Other: I chose civil engineering for many reasons. The first one is that my family member is also a civil engineer, so he will suggest that civil is the best. The best thing about this course is getting the practical things that are done in my lab. No idea how to improve in this course. In our college, events and fests are not so good or not done on a large scale.

At an affordable price, we got a great education.
Placements: 65-75% of students get placed. The highest package offered in my college is 43 LPA by Microsoft, and the minimum package is 4 LPA by companies like Wipro, TCS, etc. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, TCS, etc. 80% of students got internships in CDAC Patna, Mithila Stack, and ATEC. The assistant role is offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is awesome. There are two buildings named Vidyapeeth and the other is Dr VC Jha Hostel. There is a regular mess. The college provides us with a gym. There is a very big playground where we can easily play cricket, football, and many other games.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful and very friendly. We can also share our problems with them easily. They are always ready to support us in any situation. My course is B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering. Semester exams are not very difficult. We can easily pass if we study one month before the semester exams.
