In EEE, you have to deal with a lot of electrical circuits. For that, you should have a interest in these electricity and electronics part like whatever you studied in Current electricity, Semiconductors etc in class 12.Tese chapters don’t exactly define about EEE but they are somewhat similar. So if you don’t have some specific interest then don’t take these core branches, instead of that you should take Computer Science or Information Science in some lower colleges. Now coming to colleges, placements are not that much bigger in these colleges. Everything is equivalent after coming to these colleges.Having ideas about other colleges, but DSCE is good.

{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Success Rate of Placement Cell* The placement cell of DSCE is commendable as it puts its maximum efforts to provide placement to even the most average student, provided the student has good soft skills and an aggregate more than 60%.* Decent placement opportunities exist, with companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, etc. recruiting students. However, core companies visit less frequently.* About 50-60% of students got placed, with the highest salary package offered being 12 LPA and the lowest being 3.5 LPA.* Many students from our batch do internships, and famous companies like Infosys, Microsoft, IBM, etc. visit our college for placements.* The college provides a good amount of internships, and all you need is your personal interest.* While some students from earlier batches got a proper placement with a good package, our batch faced a bit of issue with placements.Note: These points summarize the common theme that emerges from the statements provided by students and alumni, highlighting the moderate success rate of the placement cell at DSCE.
