Overall good college with supportive faculty, good campus life. Sports facilities aren't great.
Placements: I'm in the Computer Science and Engineering branch. The placement scenario is overall great. Around 80-85% students are placed. The highest package is of 57 LPA, which is offered by Google. Other companies like Wipro, Microsoft, Amazon, and Infosys also come. Our branch has an average package of 7-9 LPA. Internship opportunities are not provided much by our college, and you will have to seek them on your own.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good, and it has one of the biggest campuses in Bangalore, but the hostel is overpriced. Coming to food, the mess isn't that good, and the quality doesn't match the price we are paying. Labs are conducted every week and have Ethernet LAN connections. The college library is good and has Wi-Fi as well, so you can come and study anytime. Borrowing books from there requires a card.
Faculty: The faculty in my department is good. They are really supportive. Some can teach well, but I don't feel the same about every faculty. The course curriculum is somewhat relevant. But it's not very practical, knowledge-oriented. Exams are not tough, and maintaining CG is easy overall.
Other: I chose the CSE core so that later you have options and you can choose any domain. Events are conducted regularly in my college, so people having extra curricular skills are at an advantage. Fest is conducted twice a year.

I am satisfied with the college, but I wanted some more good infrastructure.
Placements: More than 45 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package offered is 60 LPA, and the lowest package is 25 LPA. Many students get placed at a good price. The top recruiting companies for our course are Bharat Electronics, Bosch, ABB, Google, etc. More than 25 percent of students got internships, which is not accurate, and it may be more or less. The top roles offered are manager and CEO of a startup. We can also start to create our own business in the non-IT field.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is old, and it's a very old building. Some classrooms are in very bad conditions, but nowadays, they are working on problems and sorting them out. I do not stay in a hostel, but a few of my friends say that's good compared to any other college. There are two hotels in our college, one is the NRI hostel, which has a good infrastructure and good room space, but the con is that they don't have proper food facilities. The other is an Indian hostel, which has good food and is well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly, and they teach us well with their knowledgeable sense. Overall, the experience is average, but they can further improve it to make it more accurate. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is not that accurate. It purely depends on teachers who have industry experience and have come to the teaching field. Exams are tougher compared to other colleges because the material is set, but at VTU, the material will be challenging if we don't study well. The pass percentage is 50 out of 100 percent.
Other: It was my personal opinion to choose this course because I wanted to move into this field, which is non-IT. The best thing about college is that we will get to meet many people from many other states and many other countries. The campus is very young and filled with nature. It should improve the teaching methodologies related to the course and make students industry-ready, because that is very important in the future. Many fests are going on every semester. It organises many inter-college and intra-college fests.

Honest review of my college.
Placements: I am from DSC Bangalore. Placements are around 80 to 90 percent of eligible students have been placed. Opportunities are good, especially for CS branches, other branches are fewer. Students have done internships in companies like Bosch, Toyota, and Infosys. This is a decent college.
Infrastructure: Hostels are decent. I do not go to a hostel because I am a day scholar, college infrastructure is good and well maintained. Rules are strict though. A hostel is available for males and females. Mess food when heard by students its bad just average, classrooms are decent below average.
Faculty: In the EEE department classes are strict, I do not like the head, the rules are more and attendance is just outrageous. Compulsory attendance, mandatory presence. Exams are kind of manageable, a lot of AAT quizzes and assignments. Internals are difficult but okay.
Other: The course is the hardest part, it is so difficult to understand. Teachers are helpful but equipments do not always work.

It's good for CSE, I would say, and if you need a good campus life, then also it's good to join.
Placements: 80%of students get placed, including all the branches. In my branch, CSE 90% students get placed. The average overall is 8 to 9 LPA, but the CSE average is around 10 to 12 LPA, which is good but not the best. The highest last year was more than 55 LPA. The placement % is increasing every year, with many companies like Google, Accenture, Infosys, etc, are recruiting every year with a good package.
Infrastructure: The college campus is really good, and the infrastructure is also good. It has all facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, canteen, and on-campus hostel. The food in the mess is not good, as I have heard, that the food in the canteen, is the food good;, it's like average. Some dishes are good, and some are not.
Faculty: The curriculum, I would say, is the same as other engineering colleges, a little backward, not up to, but the faculty members, I would say, are supportive and approachable. You can talk to them personally if you feel like it. The exams are not tough. They are moderate. The attendance criteria are quite strict, especially in your 1st year.
Other: The campus is quite lively. There is something else happening inside the campus. There are plenty of clubs that are quite active. College life is fun if you join.

Review of Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering.
Placements: The placement in our course is approximately 80-85 percent of the eligible students. The highest package offered in our course is 12 LPA. The average package is around 6 LPA-7 LPA. Top Recruiting companies were Qualcomm, Tata Technologies, BHEL, BEL, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course are extremely good. Wi-Fi facility is available. Labs are well-equipped with instruments and machinery. There are modern computer labs. VLSI lab is also present. Hostel quality is also good. All essential facilities are available.
Faculty: The professor of our course is good. The teaching quality of our faculty members is good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. Students got trained and became industry-ready. The semester examinations are moderate.

College is amazing due to its extracurricular activities and amazing coding clubs at a high rate.
Placements: About 80-85 % students got placed. The lowest package ranges from 9-10 LPA. The highest package ranges from 30-40 LPA. NTT Data, Microsoft, TCS, and Google are the top recruiting companies. About 85% of students got internships in different companies like Microsoft, NTT Data, and JP Morgan. Data analyst and AI/ML engineer roles are offered to students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It is just like a new techno park. The hostel food and living are also good. It feels more like home to me. The hostel timings are quite amazing on the campus. Hostel guards are quite friendly and helpful to everyone.
Faculty: Teaching methods are quite impressive, which makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is about 95%. The exam methods are very easy, understandable, and practical, which makes us more industry-ready and job-ready. The placement preparation is quite good.

As per the information available on the Shiksha- in most of the M.Tech specialisations, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering offers the same number of seats. Hence, identifying the maximum and minimum number of seats allocated to M.Tech specialisation is not possible.
