COMEDK UGET 2026: The Consortium is conducting the COMEDK choice editing 2026 before the round 1 allotment. Those who checked their COMEDK 2026 mock seat allotment result at comedk.org must log in to finalise their preference order. Candidates can add/delete or reorder their preferences based on the mock COMEDK 2026 seat allotment. The last date for COMEDK choice editing is July 16, 11 AM. The round 1 COMEDK seat allotment will be announced on July 17.

What is COMEDK UGET?
The undergraduate engineering test (UGET) is held for engineering admission to private colleges in Karnataka. The exam is held for 3 hours and has 180 questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics. Admission to more than 20,000 seats is done through the COMEDK exam. 150 engineering institutes accept COMEDK UGET scores for admission.

The authorities conduct a centralised COMEDK 2026 counselling process for admission to COMEDK participating institutes. As part of the COMEDK UGET 2026 counselling, candidates have to register, fill in their choices, check their seat allotment, get their documents verified, report to the allotted institutes and finally, pay the fee. The round 1 schedule is out and candidates must adhere to the deadlines for admission. The authorities announced the cutoffs for each institute and course after each round of allotment.
COMEDK 2026 Cutoff
The COMEDK cutoff has been released for the mock round. Candidates can check the mock round cutoff for COMEDK UGET to know the closing ranks ahead of the actual round 1 allotment. The authorities release the cutoffs for each institute and branch separately.
COMEDK 2026 Result
The authority declared the COMEDK UGET result on May 29, on the website, comedk.org. To check the result, students have to provide the login credentials. The COMEDK result consists of ranks and the subject-wise and aggregate percentile scores of the student. Candidates can download their rank cards online. The authorities will then conduct the counselling preocess based on the candidate's merit for admission.

COMEDK Answer Key 2026
The authority released the final COMEDK 2026 answer key on May 23. Now the authorities will not entertain any requests for change or revision of the answer key. At first, the provisional COMEDK answer key was released and candidates were given time to object to the COMEDK UGET provisional answer key by May 18. Based on the objections received, the authorities have prepared the final answer key. The authorities will use the final key for preparing the results.

COMEDK 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions to appear for the COMEDK UGET 2026. As per the revised COMEDK eligibility criteria, students who are appearing or have passed in the second PUC or 10+2 with 45% marks are eligible for admission. Instead of Chemistry, candidates can also have Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science or Electronics. All the subjects should be passed from a single board. The detailed eligibility criteria is given below.
- Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible. However, the OCI and PIO cardholders must obtain an eligibility certificate from the affiliating university (i.e.Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi).
- Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject in second PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination recognised by the State / Central Government.
- General Merit candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks ( 40% for SC/ST/OBC of Karnataka state) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and passed these subjects individually.
- Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science, or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.
COMEDK Application Form 2026
The COMEDK 2026 application form was available from February 3 to March 23, 2026. Candidates were required to create their COMEDK login by providing basic information to be able to fill out the COMEDK application form. The registration process involved providing basic details, entering educational details, uploading the documents & paying the application fee. The COMEDK application fee for PCM was Rs 1950 + convenience charges, and to apply for both COMEDK AND UNI-GAUGE-E, students had to pay Rs 3200 + convenience charges.
COMEDK 2026 Admit Card OUT
The authorities had released COMEDK admit card 2026 on April 30, 2026. Candidates can check their allotted exam centre and shift timings on the COMEDK admit card. The COMEDK 2026 admit card download link is available on the website, comedk.org. Applicants have to use their login credentials to download the same. It is mandatory to carry the COMEDK hall ticket 2026 while appearing for the exam. No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam hall without a valid COMEDK 2026 admit card and ID proof.
