COMEDK 2026: The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) conducts the undergraduate entrance test (UGET). The authority has updated the official website, comedk.org, which now displays 'Stay Tuned for 2026 Updates'. The authority will conduct the COMEDK 2026 exam in the second week of May 2026. Students appearing/passed in the second PUC or 10+2 with 45% marks are eligible to apply for the exam. Aspirants must prepare for the exam with the help of the COMEDK syllabus 2026.

What is COMEDK UGET?

The authority conducts the COMEDK exam annually in the month of May. The undergraduate engineering test (UGET) is held for engineering admission to private colleges in Karnataka. The exam is held for 3 hours and has 180 questions from physics, chemistry and mathematics. Admission to more than 20,000 seats is done through the COMEDK exam. 148 engineering institutes accept COMEDK UGET scores for admission.

The exam conducting body will announce the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam date along with the exam notification. The COMEDK 2026 schedule will be available on the website, comedk.org. COMEDK 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Students need to fulfil the minimum eligibility conditions to appear for the COMEDK UGET 2026. The eligibility conditions of COMEDK consist of educational qualifications and citizenship. You can check the eligibility criteria below in detail.

• Indian Citizens or Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible. However, the OCI and PIO cardholders must obtain an eligibility certificate from the affiliating university (i.e.Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi).
• Students must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject in second PUC or 10+2 higher secondary or equivalent examination recognised by the State / Central Government.
• General Merit candidates should have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks ( 40% for SC/ST/OBC of Karnataka state) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and passed these subjects individually.
• Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science, or Electronics as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted.

COMEDK Application Form 2026

The Consortium will release the COMEDK 2026 application form online. Candidates will have to create their COMEDK login by providing basic information to be able to fill out the COMEDK application form. The COMEDK 2026 registration process will include providing basic details, entering educational details, uploading the documents and payment of the application fee. Applicants must submit the completed COMEDK UGET application form before the deadline. The authority will announce the COMEDK registration dates 2026 online. The COMEDK application fee for PCM is Rs 1950+ convenience charges, and to apply for both COMEDK AND UNI-GAUGE-E, students have to pay Rs 3200+ convenience charges.

The authority will release the COMEDK 2026 answer key a few days after the exam. First, the provisional COMEDK answer key will be released, followed by the final key. Candidates will be able to object to the COMEDK UGET provisional answer key within a limited period. The authority will consider the objections received to prepare the final answer key. The final COMEDK answer key 2026 will be released a few days later and will be used for preparing the results.

COMEDK 2026 Result

The authority will declare the COMEDK UGET result online on the website, comedk.org. To check the result, students have to provide the login credential. The COMEDK result will consist of rank and the overall score obtained by the students. The qualifying students have to participate in the counselling for admission process.
