1. Fee Refund & Cancellation Policy
- 100% Fee Refund: Granted if a formal written cancellation request is submitted 15 days or more before the officially notified last date of admission (a small processing charge of up to INR 1,000 may be deducted).
- 90% Fee Refund: Applicable if the withdrawal notice is received less than 15 days prior to the formally notified last date of admission.
- 80% Fee Refund: Applicable if the cancellation request is made within 15 days after the formally notified last date of admission.
- 50% Fee Refund: Applicable if the request is received between 16 to 30 days after the formally notified last date of admission.
- No Refund (0%): Fees are completely forfeited if a candidate requests seat cancellation more than 30 days after the formally notified last date of admission.
2. Non-Refundable Fee Components
- The initial Application Form Fee and One-Time Registration/Processing Charges are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances.
3. Security Deposit & Hostel Fee Refund
- Caution Deposit: Institutional and library caution money is fully refundable to the student upon graduation or official withdrawal, subject to clearing all departmental dues and submitting a No Dues Certificate.
- Hostel Refund: Hostel fee refunds (mess/rent) are processed as per internal residence rules based on the exact date of room vacation.
4. Refund Procedure
To initiate a refund, students must submit a formal written application or email to the DSCE admissions office along with their admission fee receipt, provisional seat allotment letter, bank details, and proof of identity. Approved refunds are credited via electronic transfer within 15–30 working days.
