In our college, there is a placement cell but for B.A, there are no many opportunities or companies in DDUC.

DDUC needs to look after placements only and rest all the areas are fixed.
Placements: Our college probably has a mixed bag because one shouldn't expect much, and also one will not have any opportunities at all. So close to 30% of students across the streams are placed. I guess for my course i.e., Physics (Hons), the good days for placements will take some time.
Infrastructure: The best buildings by any stretch of the imagination will be found in our college. The basketball court needs some attention, as the rest of the sports facilities are good. Even the canteen serves good food, and needless to say, our college library is one of the most stocked libraries in DU.
Faculty: Our course is special, and so are our faculty members. We have lovely people with good brains, as our course needs some serious churning of brain wheels. Our course is one of the toughest in DU, but luckily, papers are quite easy, and thus the passing percentage is always on the higher side.
Other: The crowd is good. Events and all have a little space in our college.

B.A. (Hons.) in English - Batch of 2029
4.6
4.0Placements5.0Infrastructure4.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life5.0Value for Money
The best off-campus College of Delhi University.
Placements: Placements for B.A. (Hons) English are comparatively low as most students prefer higher studies. The overall placement rate is around 34 percent, though only a limited number apply. The highest package is 22.5 LPA, while the lowest is around 6.5 LPA. Recruiters include Accenture, EY Global, WTW, and Genpact, offering roles in analyst, HR, business development, and consulting positions. The college also organizes an internship fair, and the placement cell is quite active. With decent skills and some internship experience, even online, you have a fair chance of getting placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is honestly one of the best among DU colleges. Almost every classroom has centralized AC and most of them work pretty well. There are lifts at convenient intervals, smart projectors in classrooms, and the campus is generally clean and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is available, though the speed can be a bit uneven at times. The library is probably the best part; it is a well-built three-floor library with a good collection, along with an e-library service. Overall, the infrastructure is definitely one of the strongest points of the college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty is quite good, supportive, and knowledgeable, especially in B.Sc. CS, B.Com, and B.A. Programme. For B.A. (Hons) English, the teachers are knowledgeable too, but supportiveness can be a bit hit-or-miss: some are really good while others are not as approachable. Teaching quality is generally good, though. The curriculum follows NEP, so it is fairly relevant and covers useful areas, although becoming industry-ready also depends on your own skills and internships. Passing semester exams is manageable, and the pass criteria are mainly based on DU guidelines.
Other: I choose this college mainly because of its fests, especially Kalrav, which is honestly one of the better fests in DU. Mohit Chauhan performs recently, and Neeti Mohan performs earlier too. The college also keeps organizing cultural events throughout the year, so there is always something happening. Apart from that, the infrastructure is much better than many other DU colleges and the crowd is pretty decent too. I choose B.A. (Hons) English because it is a popular course and also gives a good foundation for pursuing law later, which is my plan.

DDUC is the best alma mater for a student.
Placements: Overall, DDUC placements are good, but for Physics (Hons), most students then opt for an M.Sc. or an integrated Ph.D. programme. Some environment and healthcare companies come to our college, and around 20 to 30 percent of students are placed at around a 4 to 6 LPA package. BARC, ISRO, and DRDO are some of the major names that recruit Physics students.
Infrastructure: There is one boys' hostel and one girls' hostel at our campus. I thought of joining the hostel, but the college is in Dwarka and there are endless PGs here. Our college has four buildings in all, and all of them are quality, well-facilitated buildings.
Faculty: They are worthy without a doubt, as when it comes to faculty members at DU, there is one thing guaranteed, quality will not be compromised. Our course is also very vast, and faculty members still somehow manage to finish the course well before time. So, on this, there is a full 10 out of 10.
Other: Every month there are at least 2 to 3 events, and the main event is our annual fest, Kalrav. One change which I wish for would be having at least one more canteen or kiosk, as currently, there is just one canteen.

College is good, campus life is decent and crowd is mixed. Placements are still emerging.
Placements: There is an overall placement rate of 38 percent. The highest salary package offered is 26 LPA, and the average package is around 6 LPA. Roles offered to students include business analyst and management trainee, among others. The college placement cell is active in providing internship opportunities. Top recruiting companies visiting the campus include Barclays, Deloitte USI, and Preferred Square.
Infrastructure: A high-tech computing facility is available for students. However, the Wi-Fi accessibility is not that good. A centralized air-conditioning system is available everywhere except on the top 6th floor. The canteen food is decent, but there is a shortage of playground space in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and highly intellectual. The curriculum for our course is relevant and up to industry standards. Therefore, the teaching quality is much better here compared to other colleges in the University of Delhi. The passing percentage in our college is almost 90 percent.

Infrastructure and crowd are good. Taking admission to this college is also good value for money.
Placements: Placements are decent. Internship opportunities are available for every student. Many top companies and professionals visit to make students aware of trends and future growth. Many societies are also active on the campus. They provide students with opportunities to explore and build alumni relationships.
Infrastructure: Overall, the infrastructure is modern. However, half of the lifts do not work, and top floors like the 6th floor are in bad condition. Waterlogging is a major problem on campus during the monsoon season. The rooms are air-conditioned and ventilated. Also, only some of the water coolers work.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and polite. They are willing to help students with their studies. The exam curriculum is quite good and helps students study better. Teachers also take regular class tests to check whether students are able to understand the subject or not. This also helps in studies.

Good college with good facilities and opportunities.
Placements: Placements are quite good at the college. The college has a Career Counselling and Placement Cell, which provides placement and career-related support. Different companies visit the college for recruitment. Students also get internship opportunities. I feel students who prepare well and develop their skills can get good opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Classrooms are spacious. The campus is clean and well maintained. The college has a good library, computer facilities, Wi-Fi, an auditorium, and sports facilities. Hostel facilities are also available for students, with furnished rooms and other basic facilities.
Faculty: Faculty is generally helpful and supportive. The curriculum is according to the Delhi University syllabus. It covers the important topics related to the course. Exams are manageable if we study properly and attend classes regularly. I feel that more practical activities and industry exposure can make the course better.
Other: Overall, DDUC is a good college with good infrastructure and many opportunities for students. There are different societies, events, and activities where students can participate and learn new things. The college also provides career and placement support. Overall, I am happy with my college experience.
