B.Sc. in Aviation - Batch of 2021

I refer others to not join this college.
Placements: There were no placements. I guess due to the COVID batch even though our course is something which we need to prepare or like we need self gain our skills. So that we can try our entrance and get selected. They said that they will provide placements when I was joining I don't think I will get one.
Infrastructure: I lived in that hostel. It was very uncleaned even a jail is better than comparing to this. Four of them in that small room feel like suffocating. The food and all very the worst I got my toothache because of the world's the hardest chapati which is produced for hostel students.
Faculty: Coaching was not bad. But the thing is they started lately to our course but pushing us to complete it soon. It feels like they were just reading fastly and I couldn't even understand what they are taking. Semester exams and models are easy on previous itself they use to send the answer keys and importance. When it comes to exams they help a lot.
Other: I aim to become a pilot so that's why I choose this course. Need good coaching.

Satisfied with the course but not with the infrastructure.
Placements: Around 18 students were placed in Air India, Air Transport Services Limited. The highest salary offered is Rs. 22,000 per month, and the lowest salary is Rs. 19,000 per month. Air India Air Transport Services Limited, Bhadra Aviation Services, IndiGo, etc., offered placements, with the roles like flight operations officer, Bhadra etc. Around 51% (18/35) of the students got into AIATSL, Chennai Intl Airport.
Infrastructure: The classrooms offered to us were not up to the standards. I feel they could have provided better infrastructure (because engineering classes are much more advanced). I am not a hosteler, so I have no clue about it. I heard that they provided good Wi-Fi and sports facilities, and they were supportive.
Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful, and all of my instructors were pilots. Around 90% of the time, our instructors were amazing. I would rate them 9 out of 10. The only problem we faced was since they were pilots (CPL Holders), they had to eventually move on to their dream jobs of being a pilot, so the teachers were not consistent. None of the teachers whom I saw in my first year are with the college now. They all move on in 6-8 months of time.
Other: I chose this course because it was the only thing related to my passion. The college should provide permanent instructors, hands-on training at least via flight simulators (which doesn't cost much, just a PC and software). My classmates know how to plot a route and navigate in an airplane, but they have never done that in an airplane, so right now, they don't know how or where it's used. If you give them the question, they'll solve it and give you answers, but in reality, that is not what pilots do. Events in our college are very poor. They collect money for it but fail to organise it. I am highly disappointed. The college supports you a lot if you're a research student.

Absolutely B.Sc. aviation is valuable course but in studying vistas is bad.
Placements: They trying to approach the aviation industry. Still, no company comes forward to pick the students we are the 1st batch. But they give assurance for the job for everyone. They planned to place a student in badhara aviation actually its a third party service for foreign aircraft. Expected salary 12k -15k.
Infrastructure: The worst infrastructure. The environment is not good. Very poor no sports activity, quality of canteen is bad and it is very costly. No Wi-Fi. Even your network signal is also not available there. Not furnished classrooms. Medical facilities are not good. The library is bad no aviation-related books are avialble.
Faculty: Faculty are well trained most are from CPL holders (pilots). staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, quality of teachers are good. B.Sc. aviation syllabus is related to CPL syllabus. Syllabus is from oxford ATPL and Jeppeson. Staff ration 4:1.
Other: Fees is average, campus surroundings is bad, .

Q:   Can Diploma in Aviation operation help in becoming a pilot?
A:

Diploma in Aviation has actually got nothing to do with becoming a pilot. To become a commercial pilot, there is a specific eligibility criteria which you should first be aware of. This is decided on what subjects have you taken in class 12th. It requires PCM to be a pilot. And even if you have not opted for same, then you can appear separately for these subjects and become eligible.

Hope this helped your doubt! All the best!
