The Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus offers admission to the BPES based on a departmental level test, which includes a fitness test, game performance, and bonus marks for academic field and sports achievement. The fitness test consists of a 50 mts dash, pull-ups, bent knee sit-ups, shuttle run, standing broad jump, and 600 mts run/walk. The game performance is assessed based on the candidate's performance in a selected game. Bonus marks are awarded for academic performance and sports achievements, such as participating in international or national competitions. The total marks for the admission test are 145.

The college is strict when it comes to the eligibility requirements of B.E. in CSE at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Takshashila Campus. The candidate must have a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in their qualifying degree, and relaxation of 5% marks is given to sponsored/ SC/ ST candidates. Additionally, sponsored candidates must have a minimum of two years of working experience after their qualifying degree and must submit a certificate from their employer on the prescribed Performa.
