Review of Institute of Management Studies (IMS), DAVV.
Placements: The placement cell is very active. Recruitment occurs according to the students' performance. Internship (working experience) can be gained through working in different hospitals convenient to the students. Top hospitals such as Apollo Hospital, Bombay Hospital, Medanta Hospital, and Choithram Hospital offer internship programs for students in this course. Top roles that a student can get through this course are Hospital Administration, Hospital Manager, and, upon progress. A student can become the CEO of the concerned hospital.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my college are very progressive and adequate according to the needs of students. The college also includes Wi-Fi, computer labs, a library, and well-furnished classes. Government hostel facilities for students from far away from their houses are also available. They are fully functional. All basic amenities are fulfilled by the government in the hostel, along with facility of a mess, canteen, Wi-Fi, etc.
Faculty: Faculty of the concerned course is very knowledgeable, helpful, and always eager to think about the welfare of students. The course curriculum is totally relevant. The college works towards the overall development of students. This also includes making students industry-ready. Semester exams are totally relevant to gaining knowledge about the set curriculum.
Other: This course is fully focused on management. Any student who is willing to serve in healthcare other than becoming a doctor can genuinely choose this course. They study the workings of the hospital and the back-end management work of the hospital, which runs the hospital.

Reality of IMS, DAVV: Is it really worth it.
Placements: The percentage of students who got placed is around 70 percent. The highest package is around 22 LPA. The recruiting companies for our course are Deloitte, Arcesium, HDFC, ICICI, and all. The lowest package is around 2.5 LPA and the average package we can say is around 4 LPA. The top roles offered are research analyst and equity research analyst. The percentage who got internships is pretty less it is around 15 percent only.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure, we can say, are okay. The classrooms don't have Wi-Fi, but the libraries are surrounded by all kinds of books. The quality of the facilities in our hostel is also okay. The mess and canteen are in a good position. Sports and games are also taken good care of.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and well qualified, as all the teachers have done their Ph.D. in their specialisation field. The curriculum is also relevant, and if we talk about the difficulty level, then it is around moderate to difficult, and the pass percentage is around 90 percent. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I have a very strong interest in the finance field, and if I were to improve this college, then we can say that more practicality would be added to this. If I talk about events, there are many events organised. Scholarships have also been provided on the basis of caste as well as merit. Extracurricular activities also take place from time to time.

Good ROI and environment, but faculty and placements need improvement.
Placements: Approximately 40 percent of students are placed (on campus and off campus). The highest package is 9 LPA by Aditya Birla Capital, sales profile, and the lowest package is 3.5 LPA by HDFC Ergo. Recruiting companies are Aresium, Deloitte, GT Bharat, and HDFC Bank. You have to find an internship on your own efforts. Most of the profiles are sales-based, only a few are finance-aligned.
Infrastructure: The rooms are average, and there is no Wi-Fi in the hostel. The IMS library has limited resources, so most students prefer using the central library on the DAVV campus. Sports facilities are good, and the college regularly organizes cultural programs, fests, and concerts. Hostel facilities are decent, while the food is average and could be improved.
Faculty: Most teachers are qualified, but some of them are egoistic, which affects the learning experience. The curriculum is mostly theoretical and provides very little industry exposure or practical learning. Students often need to build skills through internships and self-learning. Semester exams are generally easy, and the question pattern is often predictable, so passing is not very difficult if you attend classes and prepare basic notes.

Good environment and crowd in the college, at least you got a chance to meet a famous actor.
Placements: Around 10 to 20 percent of people get placements. A maximum number of students get internships. They are providing education at the very best. Placements are in your hands, whether you are coming properly or not, and you are regular to campus. Externally, they see your character and give you jobs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but not better. Modern campus infrastructure features smart classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and well-equipped labs designed for effective learning. Comprehensive libraries and, often, sports facilities support academic and personal growth. Hostels provide necessary amenities, although, in many cases, the mess food quality can be inconsistent.
Faculty: 90% teacher helpful and fully understanding. The faculty members at this institution are exceptional. Around 90% of the teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. The teaching quality is excellent, and they ensure a full understanding of complex topics.

Film industry or electronic media.
Placements: Even though the course name is Electronic Media, it is more like film studies. In EMRC, DAVV, there is no placement cell for now, but in the last semester, the only thing a student has to deal with is internships, which are helped by the institution and are already provided in big places like Mumbai Film City or Disney, etc. Since it is film studies/Electronic Media, most students are either self-employed like freelancing, own a business, or get placed easily off-campus.
Infrastructure: There is no particular hostel for any department, but there are many government hostels by DAVV, which are good and affordable. Getting a private hostel nearby is a better option. DAVV has one of the best infrastructures of all time in Madhya Pradesh, excluding IITs and IIMs. Even within that, EMRC, IMS, and IIPS have some of the best infrastructure available.
Faculty: One of the best and highly experienced faculties one could get! Every faculty member is highly experienced with respect to their course. For example, in the Media and Society subject, our faculty owned his own press, making him perfect for the role. The curriculum is up-to-date, with just a few minor drawbacks regarding AI integration, but industry connections are the best here. Exams are very easy and mostly based on practical knowledge.

Teachers are very rude. The fee is very high, and the maintenance is very low.
Placements: If we are above-average students, then we will get placements from this college. The lowest package offered in the college is 2 LPA, and the highest package offered is 8 LPA. Placements are very hard for below-average students, and they will not have a placement from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is okay, but maintenance is very low. The hostel facility and Wi-Fi facilities are available. It charges a high fee for hostel charges, and maintenance is almost nonexistent for the hostel. Wi-Fi speed is very low if we are using it for uploading and downloading something like 50 GB or 200 GB.
Faculty: Faculty members are not so good. They do not focus on students, and they only teach them. After they complete their lecture, they immediately leave the class. Mainly, they don't help students with doubt-solving. The semester paper level is very hard. They are almost impossible to do if we are studying more than 16 hours, like AJEE students, then we will have maybe 90 percent.
