Really good engineering college in the lush green environment from the outskirts of Dibrugarh.

Placements: Not every year but small companies do come and recruit from the Institute. Many students were placed. Like always 10-20% of students gets placed and rest prefer further studies of preparing for competitive exams. Companies like Maruti Suzuki come here.

Infrastructure: It's in my hometown itself hence I have no idea regarding the hostel facilities, but there's only girls hostel. That was back in 2021. Maybe now there's boys hostel. As per my knowledge the hostel is good. The students which lived there were happy. Since its a government Institute including the hostels, its affordable.

Faculty: Every curriculum and faculty members are good, professional and experienced. They were government employee. Have years of experience and guide us in many ways. Helps us clearing our doubts whenever we had any doubt. Provide professional notes so that we can understand and write in exams.

Other: Because Diploma in Mechanical Engineering has many demands. Many Junior Engineer jobs from the government comes every year. Also soon here will also be Bachelors Degree in Engineering.

Dibrugarh Polytechnic. Good campus.

Placements: Students below 60% in Maths and Physics got selected. Few companies came to the campus for recurring students. Companies are like Havells, ONGC, OIL, BCPL, and NF Railway. There are Few Internship Options during the 3Rd semester And 5th semester in the biggest companies like ONGC, and NFL Railway.

Infrastructure: A very vibrant place for schooling. The library and workshop are quite good, also the classes are timely. The hostel is situated middle of a tea garden. There are many canteens available in front of our college.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty are good. The teaching quality is good.

Other: Good college, worthy to join.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered.
